I guess the answer to that should be looked for in another book - try "The Alchemist" by Paolo Cohelo. The general meaning is that everyone carries their own reason and their own truth inside, in their hearts, which can be definitely quite different from a "mind's" reason which is more superficial in a way comparing to "heart's" reason. Well, "Alchemist" will explain it better.

The second reason is the Intellect which is designed to learn(anything), but the heart is designed to feel(anything). The intellect does not really know anything, but can learn everything. The heart does not need to learn anything, it knows everything. It's like when you're in love, you don't think about it, you just know it, you feel it, you sense it. Likewise, the intellect learns from the 5 outer senses. What follows is what is the sensor of the heart?

Methinks maybe something that you desire but can't seem to part. Something to you in a way where it's hard to let go. Vices come to mind like women, booze, gambling,etc... You know it's bad in your heart but for some reason you cannot seem to understand why you keep repeating it. Somebody mentioned Pascal's "Theory?" to me before. Could, uh somebody be kind and give me the quick review? (DoH!)
