the reason people are talked about is beacause they have talked about someone and they are just getting payback and the people who doesnt talk about people doesnt get talked about

This is not a Karmic thing. Karma is much more complicated.
This is simply mirroring, or reflection. Those that are talked about, are usually people who talk about others, or attract it to themselves due to being a victim.
Do you lack confidence and so feel people are talking about you.
If you can truthfully say you have never gossiped, or judged another because of their personality, their clothes, their looks, then you have nothing to worry about.

Its called the law of creation or the universal law.It has nothing to do with religion ..Its the natural balance of things.If you do something bad it comes back to you many times over and if you do something good it comes back to you more..I have been on both ends ..The bad is really bad far worse than you have ever done and the good better than you could have imagined .Not only has this affected my life I have seen it countless times in others all my life and im old..

Gossip always makes a circuit of the gossips, thus eventually you'll be talked about. A non-gossip will be talked about if they come to the attention of the gossips. It will be said they don't say much or that they are surly.
General rule: Tis better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you a fool, than open it and prove it.

Absolutely ! Look at Jade the bully. Her granma says she was a bully all her life. Imagine the satisfaction of the ppl she bullied to see the situation she is in now. Its almost comical :)

In my life experience what goes around does come around and does not just pertain to gossip
You do good and good does come to you...one day
You do bad and something will happen to you..for sure
Never failed yet and usual comes in threes..........
