Do you find this ballad eerie? What is the main feeling it leaves you with? I am talking about the traditional ballad, not any remade fold song version.

It was disturbing to hear that a woman aged 80+ was sacked recently from a church near New York and she is no longer allowed to take Sunday classes there! According to the guy in-charge of the church where she used to engage the Sunday classes, ‘God has stipulated specific roles for women and men.’ What a silly guy preaching so! I for one think that women should be allowed to continue with her teaching as it provides her a good pastime at her ripe old age but still active!

Plastination is the pseudo science of replacing a corpse's tissue with plastic. Apparently this procedure takes about a year. The result is a skinless plastic corpse. These are often posed doing things that living people do- like kicking a ball for exmple. Then they are put on display in both art and science mueums around the world.
Even though people elect this procedure while they are alive as part of their estate planning, I find it an offensive way to handle a corpse.
A hundred years ago there may have been some scientific merit to this. But nowdays with MRI's etc there is really no point.

What do you think about plastination? Is it science? Is it art?

Many of the biblical stories are derived from babylonian mythology.
The Koran compounds this borrowing even further by borrowing from the jewish scriptures and from apochryphal gospels. The teachings of Jesus are deeply founded in his study of the scriptures.
