Catholic, Protestant and Orthodox. Do any of them resemble the Christianity that Jesus himself would have established?

Jesus believes that God is Love, Christianity believes that God is political power.

On one hand Christianity is a religion, on the other it is a business, and just as pepsi doesn't want you to drink coke...

I don't believe they do....But then, I can only attest to the fundamentalist Christian Church....It is based upon the teachings of Paul rather than the teachings of Christ.

Christ attempted to teach his disciples to "hear" what the spirit was saying and wholly dedicate their entire beings (body, mind, soul, spirit) to walk that path....Also, Christ told his disciples that he didn't want leaders within the group. The greatest would be the servant....

Paul taught that salvation is by grace, and that has taken the disciple-ship away from the believer....If it's free than why do any more? In addition, Paul set up churches with leaders over the people, and 2000 years out, here they are.....

Christianity

1) Accept that we have been disloyal to God's laws.
2) Accept Jesus' sacrifice on our behalf, his punishment for our faults failings and errors.
3) Be baptised in water to symbolise death of old self and birth of new
4) Be baptised into the Holy Spirit to bring power and the ability to become more Christ like
5) Be joined to The Church. Christianity expresses itself through relationships, so you cannot be a Christian by yourself.
6) Love all, forgive all, show mercy, judge no-one
7) Be loyal to God. If you slip, come back to Him for forgiveness.
8) Never give up. Never surrender
9) Live simply. Share. Serve. Care for others, putting their needs above your own.
10) Grow in love, joy, peace, goodness, kindness, faithfulness, patience, gentleness and self control.

Jesus said "Repent and sin no more". He said "Do not call anyone other than God your Father".Jesus also said "Let your left hand not know what the other hand does". Jesus also said "Love others as you love yourself". There are no true Christians now of any denomination.

christianity is preaching and waste of time. christians should stay put and mind there own business. they are just moving from country to country disguising themselves as esl teachers and whatnot and trying to spread the name Jesus who was merely a human being.

oh dearest, thanks for the question;
Christianity, is simply the act and truth of following Jesus Christ the son of the living God.
However its not all about being a christian that gives you a good and happy destination, but your christianity goes round about your RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST JESUS and its only what will lead you to everlasting life in heaven....... says BRIAN S

Watch survivor seasons 2-(whenever they quit).
They all have the same basic premise, just variations on the plot.

P.S. Good question.
