What's that sound called... At the end of psychobilly freakout, the guitar squeals. Kind of... like the finger is just barely touching the string?

is it a bad thing if your flutes cork is coming out really easily (like you pull it and it slides out like pulling out the headjoint) my flute is an almost 4 year old gemeinhardt. or does it mean its just getting old.

whether it's the trumpet, piano, saxophone, and especially singing. Everyone tells me that I need to sing more prettily. When I sing I utilize my entire voice and often have an edge in my tone. I do not artificially apply it. If I try and sing cleanly it sounds to me as bland and dull. Is this a bad quality? What would necessarily wrong with singing coarsely in a ballad?

Hi,

My partner has bought me piano lessons as a present which I am very excited about as I have been wanting to learn for some time. I need to buy a piano but don't have a clue where to start! Ideally I don't want to spend too much more that £250 being a new learner and all, and would like an upright piano that won't take up too much space.

Can anyone give me advice on the best makes, what to look for etc etc?

Thanks!
