me & my guitarist are being dumb and were saying that our instrument is better than the other. I play bass he plays guitar if you can't tell. What are some points I can make that bass guitar is harder or better than regular guitar. I know there really isn't but lets brainstorm here.

In my musical theatre class is "Bad Girls on Broadway" and we get to pick numbers and audition for them. If we're lucky we get to perform them at the end of the year... but I don't know any off the top of my head. Do any of you guys? Yes, I realize it's at the end of the year... but we should start auditioning soon and preparing our solos, duets, whatever. Please help???

anywhere from 3rd-6th graders.
i was trying to find some guitar fret charts that are empty that i could have the kids draw in where they put there fingers for C, D, A, and ect. chords.
but i cant find any.
should i start by teaching them the parts on the guitar or the chords and then jump into songs?
and if anyone could find that guitar fret diagram it would help out a bunch.
thanks!

I've played the violin for 7 years and I'm a good player, I'm first chair in the two orchestras I play in.

I have one major flaw, Since i began i just relied on others for rhythm and counting. I have no sense of rhythm, i cant read it, and i cant convert notes into any rhythmical patterns. Can some one suggest me a website to learn this, also, i cannot get a teacher, i cannot afford one right now.

I know that it's easier to learn as a child or teen, but I want to learn to play guitar and I'm almost 30 years old. Is this possible? Are there some older people out there who just learned to play an instrument? Just curious! Thanks!

I heard that electric strings cause fingertips to toughen more quickly and are therefore easier to learn with--My friend strung his acoustic with electric strings at first and then switched back when he was ready. Is this a good idea and why or why not..?

So I have been told a lot throughout my life that I am a good singer. I myself always thought so, but you know how everyone thinks they are great lol But anyway I also used to play piano and I want to take it up again as well. If I tooks singing and piano lessons and became pretty good where would I start if I wanted to sing and play for people? Im not looking to be famous or anything, just kind of like a side thing. I would even join a band or something. Any ideas?

I already have my own acoustic guitar, and I took 4 classes but they cost $80 and know I don't have any more money. Also, another question. When I look up chords at www.ultimate-guitar.com, I try to play a song, and it doesn't sound the same as the normal song. Am I doing something wrong?

In my Spanish class we're having a fashion show to "test" how well we know clothing and colors. We have to have a script, a certain number of clothing items, etc. I need to come up with some sort of background music to play while we're reading our scripts, and I can't think of anything at all. Does anyone have any suggestions? It doesn't have to be Spanish or anything special-just school appropriate. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :]
