I am a pretty good guitarist who has two acoustic and 2 electric guitars (one synsonic pro series and one shitty fender copy).......i am sick of not having the sound of my friends guitars and I was wondering what is a good step up to the next level within a reasonable price range?

I have a Fender Squier, not that I think that's going to matter. Just thought I'd throw it out there in case. :)

I desperately need to change the strings on my guitar, but have never done it before. I know how and everything, I'm just unsure of one thing. Can I change them all at once (as in take them all off, clean my guitar, and then put them back on) or should I do them one at a time?

And what exactly is the purpose of a string winder? I know that's stupid, but I just want to be entirely certain that I understand.

I'm recording now, and putting together a demo CD with which I hope to get bar gigs. Keeping the voice clear is one problem. Developing good strong head register -- strong enough to yodel -- is another. Developing good low voice is a third.
Also, can anyone tell me the number of songs/sets you would do in an average bar gig?

Or is the whole idea about record outs that they don't have impedance or something?

I have alread asked this question but thought I might get some fresh answers if I ask it again. I am going for an audition next Saturday for Britains Got Talent, I have a very high range but I am not sure what to sing yet. I like things from musicals the most and I am not very good with pop songs. Any ideas?

I have been singing and acting for a few years and I am quite good at it.
I am going to be a music major in college and then I want to go to medical school.
Is it stupid of me to want to be a doctor when I have other talents?
Am I just basically just wasting my talents?

Okay, I have to write an 8 page paper on two pieces and their similarities/differences. It would be easy to write about a musical and an opera b/c I can compare contrast those two. But the songs can be current! They need to be seperated by at least 50-60 years I guess. An example is a piece from the musical phantom of the opera and a piece from an actual opera. It would be nice if the songs had similar story lines and sound.

how often should i change the strings on my violin? i have a full sized shen and the strings that are on it have been there since 05. the part of the strings that i play on are kinda discolored (white, orangery) and dont sound as nice as they use too. does that mean that i have to get new ones? ive been playing for 6 years but have never heard that the strings have to be replaced..
