Probably not. The labels do all the advertising to cause people to go looking for an artist on iTunes in the first place. So there's really no benefit to an unsigned artist being on iTunes. He/she would be better off setting up a web site with ecommerce for a few hundred dollars and selling his own downloadable music for say 60 cents per song. That would be less than iTunes, and he gets to keep all the profits!

I think so...because i know a band who are unsigned and you can only get their songs on itunes so, im sorry.

well, they have to have a contract with say a record company to produce and EP or full album.
