I am going to be in a play at my school. I don't know what to do because I get nervous when it comes to doing things like that. I don't even like
to do presentations or reading out loud in front of
my classes. I don't like reading out loud anyway because people laugh at me, and I get angry, embarrased and humiliated. What should I do???

I am in a boys choir group and we will be singing the song "Hip to be Square" by Hughie Louis And the News and our choreographer said to dress "nerdy" and i was wondering if anyone had some suggestions as to what to were. I dont want to look too nerdy, but I also want to look the part. Some suggestions were to were small clothes or hiked up pants I was thinking more along the lines of something like sweater vest or whatever, please send in your suggestions! Pictures would be appreciated also. Thanks!

I am an O.K. singer, but if I want to hit a wider range of notes, I need help! Is there any online singing program that actually worked. I've seen tons that are like "this really works" and "you'll be a great singer in just three weeks" and of course these courses cost money. Have any of you tried any of them, and did they work, and what are the called? please help! I want to become a singer!! At least at church!

I am good in public speaking and generally keep my audience involved but I have never left my audience mesmerised as the great speakers do. I wish to know what can I do (apart from my homework) to influence my audience to a great extent.
No jokes. Serious answers please.

I am looking for the names of very energetic, young and hip magicians in the LA area who are especially adept at creating and constructing innovative new large-scale magic feats. Think of the person as a Ty Pennington of magic. Any guidance?

One of my school's choral department's final concerts will be "The Children of Eden' and my choir director says there's around 8-12 male parts, and I want to audition for a part. But... I don't have a song idea that I'd want to audition with. I'm a Tenor 1... but i can sing high bass notes and alto 2 notes. My director says that our songs have to be a theatre song, any ideas on what I should do. I don't care if it's song by a male or female.

This question is now open to any dancer that has auditioned in a more involved competition in a specific type of dance genre or area that requires skill and experience---- Please read the question--- I am asking about try outs also known as auditions-- What did they involve--- Was it expensive-- Were there hotel fees--- Do they always pick the person who seems perfect or is it about spirit and passion ?? I would like to know from experienced people what to expect, look for, and what to know.

I dont mind comments like good luck, follow your dreams and so forth.(easy 2pts.)

I am 26 and me and my wife are living in different states due to work. I want to learn to play an instrument and she plays the violin and said she would give me one to learn with.

I have never played an instrument, and do not know how to read music. Can I at this age really learn this instrument? How difficult is it? Will I ever be able to play by ear?
