Under the lower lip would make it near impossible to play flute. My friend has two lower lip piercings and she has enough trouble playing the oboe which has a really slim mouthpiece. It wouldn't work with flute. If you can remove them, go for it, and get some lessons! You can always put them back in after you've finished playing. :)

If you can't put the mouthpiece up to your mouth because of your piercing, then you can absolutely not play the flute. Take out the piercing or learn how to play the drums or a string instrument. A lip piercing will interfere with pretty much any wind instrument.

I play the flute myself, I'd say it would be very difficult.
Especially while blowing, which is most of the time.
But if you really want to go for it (renting and buying a flute and all) go for it.
That would be cool.
Good luck with that!

You probably could learn, but you'd need to teach your piercings to play the harmony parts!

You've answered your own question. Other than positioning probs while your piercing is --uh? decorated ?--there should be no problem--try a smaller ornamentation. And keep trying, I like a good flautist's solo.

Not efficiently, you would not be able to play the flute.
Try taking up drums instead.
