It is always hard doing your first performance (mabey your first several performances) in white. Most times your dance belt is completely visible under your tights, and its hard not to be self-conscious, however hardly anyone else notices. Sometimes a thicker pair of tights can help alot, Id suggest Capezios Meryl tights for men or M.Stevens. Another possibility is wear a leotard under your tights, but you will still have the same lines as w/o a leotard- but you may feel more secure?

Hello..I am a dance teacher and although I don't teach ballet (I teach tap, jazz, and acrobatics) I have had a few boys that take from me. I would tell them that almost all football players have at sometime in their lives had to wear panty hose or tights to play in some of the really cold games. Then the really famous actors like patrick swazy has had to wear them too...How old is he? I don't know why he has to wear white? the costume must be read and white or something like that. Good luck to you and him. I know the show will be a hit...

Maybe a "rolled" white sock to enhance his "package"? lol. Is this the same brother you asked about before who was cross-dressing in your ballet clothes?
How young is he? If he's old enough tell him to suck it up and just get through it. "This too, shall pass" as my Mother always says.
Is this for school or a dance studio? If he's a dancer, then tell him all the great dancers wear them and I'm sure they have taken their "lumps" about it, too. If he's serious about it, then he'll have to get used to the tights..if he's not and being made to do it, then tell whoever is making him dance that he doesn't feel comfortable doing it. There must be someone else who can do it in his place.
Can't he wear black, at least?

Sing him the song from "Robin Hood: Men in Tights." It's hilarious! For that matter, show him that whole scene. That's a trick a choir instructor of mine used when we had our annual Madrigal Dinner. It made all the guys feel better about being in tights.

he's a ballerina. that's one of the least-mocho things you can do as a guy. all the guys in my old ballet classes hated it, but they still went, and as they got older, they either quit or started liking it. ballet is something that i've never seen a younger boy like, mostly because his friends make fun of him. just tell him that he's still cool in your eyes and ask him to practice for you and tell him how great of a job he does. emphasize that he's really good at dancing so that he'll like it more and not mind the tights as much.

as long because it particularly is constrained to those 2 clothing I see no issues, i don't understand what UGG boots are, men usually have bigger foot sizes than women human beings so they could be tight and uncomfortable. with reference to the warmth feeling it provides him, tights are no longer designed for the male profile, it particularly is that he stories some style of delight through their tightness. look until eventually now you wash them to work out if it particularly is authentic. attempt to introduce him to different women of his own age .
