I wanted to know how much to charge for a corporate event and dinners and stuff because normally i charge $100-$200 for 2 sets 40 minutes each . Is this too cheap? How much do singers get paid for these kind of things? I want to know.....

Sounds about right. Hard to tell when don't know what you are playing and is it a group of you. How many do you have to divide the funds between. but for 80 minutes of even deejaying you are making about right.

Ok thanks for the additional info.. No for what you are describing you and your partner are not getting nearly enough. You are doing the set up and take down and it is corporate events. Singing so I will presume you are playing instruments. You need to do some adjusting on your prices. don't know where you are located. I am in a fair size city in Canada, and here you and your partner could easily request $ 500.00 more for a wedding and more for Company Christmas parties or big corp. stuff.

That sounds pretty cheap. Even wedding performers cost more.

That said, it depends on how good you are and how in demand you are.

If anything, if I was booking a corporate event, and was told the entertainment would cost $150, I'd probably refuse - at that price, I'd imagine they probably weren't any good. If they were charging $900, then I'd be more comfortable and would expect some quality.

I'd say at least $400, but again, it depends on the nature of your audience, clientele, your quality, etc.
