I am an O.K. singer, but if I want to hit a wider range of notes, I need help! Is there any online singing program that actually worked. I've seen tons that are like "this really works" and "you'll be a great singer in just three weeks" and of course these courses cost money. Have any of you tried any of them, and did they work, and what are the called? please help! I want to become a singer!! At least at church!

At least, I think I am an okay singer, in a certain range anyway. But I'm homeschooled, ergo can't join a school choir. And I have a limited singing range and my church sings contemporary chreistian music, and they cover lots of pitches. My voice breaks alot and I can't read music (I can read the words tho, lol) and don't want to embaress myself in front of the whole church

you're a good singer you had said,, know what?.. join a choir group in a church or even in your school..it is better than wasting money in such courses.. in a choir, you are being trained w/o even using money.. like me, i joined a choir group and fortunately, i developed my singing ability..just try to join..and you'll see. there would be changes that will occur in the way you are singing.. goodluck!!

Really, you don't know if your a good singer unless you hear your voice in a microphone or a tape recorder or videotape, etc.
Because the sound that comes out of or mouths as singing
accumulates in our brains and we hear a slightly different voice than other people do.But if you think your an ok singer, try
getting recognized.Get your voice heared!Join a band or just start creating your own songs, and if you preform somewhere small that allows music groups, you can work your way up to the top of the singing chain.

I have a friend in my area that directs a choir of home schooled kids. Ask other home schooled kids and their parents if they know of one in your area. The homeschooled choirs I know about have musically trained directors because these choirs try to provide what kids would get if they attended schools. This is good place to begin. You will learn some good warm-ups and vocalises, and maybe increase your range without hurting your voice. Ask the choir director to work with you on your singing. He or she will likely be happy to help you. Good luck and keep singing!

those online singing classes are pathetic. u cant learn to sing well over the internet in, and definitly not in 3 weeks, u cant even learn to sing well in 3 weeks with a private voice teacher

u should join a choir, or get a voice teacher. also when warming up, sing higher then u do in any songs, this makes the high notes come eaier. slowly build up like this to raise your range

If you want to expand your range, you need to sing for 1-2 hours daily (not more than 1 hour at at time). Just do scales and warm-up exercises. And don't push. Just challenge your range gradually.

Oh, and enroll in choir at school. That's free...

The best thing you can probably do is get involved with a group voice class. They are generally cheaper than private lessons, and are quite useful for developing your voice. If you can't swing it, find a choir and join!
