In the 6th book, Hermione says that Harry is tall, but in the 7th book, when the Weasleys are taking the potion, it says that Ron, Fred and George all shrunk to be Harry's height. So how tall (approx) are all the Weasley's, Hermione, Harry, etc?

I'm writing a play and I had to make a few changes. For example, the person who was cast to be a maid is a male. So of course I need to change the maid to a butler. Now, I see him as a British butler, so what are some classic British names for a butler?

As you know, J.K. Rowling recently finished writing The Tales Of Beedle The Bard.
As of now, only seven copies exist, six of which have already been given to friends of J.K. and one of which will be on auction at Sotheby on December 13.
When will the general public be able to buy it?
If anyone has any other info, that would be nice to know too!

Ok , do you know what chapter or what page in the book "Narrative of the life of Frederick Douglass, an American Slave" has the qoute where he is talking about where he thinks that sailboats represent freedom, and beauty? I want the chapter that it's in in his first book, because I know he wrote two books, and I want the quote from the book he wrote when he was first out of slavery. Please help! Thanks so much!! I would really prefer the chapter that it's in, but page # is okay. Thanks!

Ok I've already written and published nationally acclaimed poetry for a few years now. As a matter of fact, I'm working on my first book of poetry soon....But I have been thinking of expanding my horizons to perhaps erotic fiction.

I've been thinking, everyone has sexual fantasies and hidden desires, why not write and have others to fulfill their desires through my work.

So I guess what I'm asking is do you think I should try writing erotic fiction? Why or why not? And should I publish the work? Let me know what you think....

Serious remarks please.......Any negative responses will be reported or deleted....Thanks

I like books that are well written. Authors I like: Anita Shreave, Norman Maclean, Marge Piercy, James Herriot... I don't want to read anything postmodern. I want a good story. I'd like a romantic story, with some mystery, and a lot of truth. By a living author. Any suggestions?

I'm 13, but I read at an adult level so don't recomend a teen book. I'll give you an idea of what kind of books I like:

-no books that took place anywhere during 1960 and back
-I love to read memoirs
-I adore authors like John Elder Robinson, Augusten Burroughs, Jeanette Walls, and James Frey
-I would rather read about a mean-spirited pissed off hilarious person rather than kind hearted and sweet.
-I love to read about mental disorders

Thanks everyone!
