I've had it for a little over a month, and I really need a cure. I can't come up with a single decent thing to write about, and no it's not because I'm a poor writer. I'm just stuck. Any ideas?

Well, I've heard that writing prompts sometimes work, here's a website that has quite a few good ones (if I remember correctly #'s 243, 290, & 295 seemed really funny).

I just let my mind wander. I might come up with a point in the story I'm writing or I might come up with something I might want to write later so I make a note of it. I listen or watch people around me a lot too because something they say or do might trigger something in my head. Sometimes I just have to walk away though and come back to it later. I'll just start something else for a bit.

Freewright. Write about anything that is on your mind even if it does not make since, and write about not having anything to write about, and you will a little something to grab an idea from.

Talk to your friends! My friends are really crazy and most people could write a REALLY creative story that started from one conversation with them.

Think about it for a while, then go to sleep with it on your mind. Often, I will dream about the story and that'll help. Of course, it only works if you actually remember your dreams...
