I think Johnny is a dynamic character, meaning he changes throughout the book. What do you think, and please give some examples. Thanks! :-)

This was the story that got me hooked on Fantasy/Sci-Fi which of course is not his main 'forte'. But that cheap Mass Market paperback was one I didn't put down for 3 days(no easy task for somebody with attention issues).

I read a lot of Stephen King back in the day. There was this one short story by him that I swear I read, but can't find anymore.

What I remember about it was that this guy and someone else (I think) are driving, but their radio gets all weird, and then there are these flying creatures like pterodactyls or something. The people from the car end up taking refuge in this supermarket or some kind of store. Can't remember exactly what happens then, but then at the end, I think they run back out to the car and drive away, and they figure out these things are from another dimention that has opened up on earth or something.

That's kind of vague and maybe I got some stories smooshed together, but does anybody know what story this is? I think it's from one the first couple of King's short story collections.

I was wondering what you thought of the last book, and the fact that Beatrice was the Baudelaire orphans mother. I thought it made sense that Lemony Snicket would go through so much to find out what happened to his love's children. Otherwise, why would he find them so important? Also did you like the book? I found it very disappointing that you didn't learn what was in the sugar bowl, what the great unknown was or what the secret underground tunnels were, or any of the mysteries for that matter! But i just thought that Lemony Snicket didn't tell you, because he couldn't come up witht something fabulous enough to solve those mysteries. What do YOU think?

If you have ever dealt with Faber & Faber, what was you experience like?

Hey all, sorry I haven't been very communitive lately, we are preparing to leave early Sun the 11th for Little Rock AR. Tylars surgery is on the 14th but, we also have tours of the hospital, a meeting with the surgeon and pre op to get through.

To help pass the time, I have been writing when I can and editing works to begin submissions when we get back. I was considering Faber & Faber but, after all the time and money I've spent over the years in looking for a reputable publisher has brought me to careful baby steps and caution.

**I truly love all you guys and really respect your opinions, you have been nothing but, a wonderful group of friends and I hope you all are safe and happy *^_^*

I've already read books like The Da Vinci Code, a child called "it", the sequel to that, the traveling pants, american chillers. I want a good book, that catches my eye. I never know what kind of book to pick because I never can find a genre that fits me. btw im in 10th grade. something around there. thanks for any help!!
