I was wondering what you thought of the last book, and the fact that Beatrice was the Baudelaire orphans mother. I thought it made sense that Lemony Snicket would go through so much to find out what happened to his love's children. Otherwise, why would he find them so important? Also did you like the book? I found it very disappointing that you didn't learn what was in the sugar bowl, what the great unknown was or what the secret underground tunnels were, or any of the mysteries for that matter! But i just thought that Lemony Snicket didn't tell you, because he couldn't come up witht something fabulous enough to solve those mysteries. What do YOU think?

I loved reading the Lemony Snicket Series. i could go on for ever talking about it. I agree about some of the mysteries i wanted solved but I thought the part with the book by their parents and Ishmeals story was fantastic. As for the other books they were relly good. I think Lemony does a great job with the characters such as Kit snicket , the orphans , and Count Olaf. I would reccommend them to everyone. I think my favorite books ( so hard to choose) were slippery slope, austrute acadamy, penulimate peril, the end ,and Eratz Elevator. I liked Miserable Mill but id have to say my least favorite.

At first I was very upset about not finding the answers to most of the mysteries in the series. I felt I was owed some truth after reading all of the books. Now the idea has grown on me. The Baudelaires live on when their mysteries are not solved. Nothing that happened to them fit into a neat little package, so it is only fitting that the book ended the way it did. Daniel Handler is rather brilliant. His other books are very good as well. I think he could have answered the questions, but he wouldn't have been doing the orphans justice.

Hey!

It's a very quirky, unique series that is defenately different from your average "girl books" like Gossip Girl, or The Clique. I got a little annoyed with it, like you said, when I couldnt find out what the underground tunnels were! Grrrr...I think he just ran out of ideas and left it hanging. That was annoying. But if you like funky books and writings, It's a book for you! Lol. (not YOU directly but in general, lol)

Good Luck!
