I have to pick another book for my english class and I'm not sure what to pick. I'm not a big fan of reading, so it has to be something interesting, fun, maybe a little thriller. I dont know. I've already read books like The Da Vinci Code, a child called "it", the sequel to that, the traveling pants, american chillers. I want a good book, that catches my eye. I never know what kind of book to pick because I never can find a genre that fits me. btw im in 10th grade. something around there. thanks for any help!!

Dean Koontz has some pretty interesting books that may be enjoyable to you - they're thrillers, some are a bit mystical or otherworldly. Also James Patterson - he couldn't write a woman's voice to save his life, but the chapters are about 5 pages each so the book seems to go quickly.

I agree about "Angels and Demons" by Dan Brown, who wrote "The DaVinci Code" - I've heard it's better than 'Code'.

Or you may want to try "Wicked" by Gregory Maguire. It's based off of the characters from "The Wizard of Oz" but tells the story differently, taking place prior to Dorothy's arrival. If you have to write something about it, this would be a good one; it really focuses on good versus evil. The musical of the same name is based on it, albeit rather loosely. (The book does have somewhat mature language and content.)

A great book would be A Clockwork Orange, its interesting and easy to comprehend, although you have to get used to the vocabulary the author uses.

pride and prejudice by Jane Austen. It is really very easy reading despite being written so long ago. Plus the plot is so easy to follow it would be simple to answer questions about.

I would say either Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen or Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen. They're both really easy to read, and really well written. I really enjoyed both of them and i highly suggest them.
