There are types?

Well, I can tell you this much:

I am a freak about my books. I only let certain people borrow them, and even then I go over the ground rules with them, the first being "No bending the pages." And that includes dog-earing the pages. I hate that. And if the book's edges are getting a little frayed or messed up (if it's a paperback) I'll go and put tape around the edges to prevent any further damage.

But my friend couldn't care less, and she likes reading just as much as me. Her room's always been a mess, and she has books laying all over the floor, in her bathroom, in her computer room, in the living room and kitchen (those are practically one room). It's gotten to the point where I can't help but not care anymore because I'm so used to seeing them every time I turn around, so I just pick it up and see what it's about.

So I really think it depends on personality. My friend and I have extremely similar interests, but I'm very organized, and she's... not.

I love books, to read, to collect, to look at, to talk about, I hardly ever lend a book out anymore...I hate it when you lone a book and they never get returned.
