I'm thirteen years old and I enjoy reading fantasy, chick lit, classic novels and more. I read on a college level, but I only read adult books if they're ok with my mum. I usually stick to young adult books. I would really appreciate any suggestions you might have. Thank you!

I have been reading the James patterson, Alex Cross series pretty much as they come out. I just read Cross and now I cannot remember what happened to his ex-girlfriend Christine Johnson (mother of Alex Jr). He has custody of him in Cross. If someone knows, I would love the refresher. Thanks!

-The glory of love-

Every morning I wake I think of her, this morning especially! Mystic thoughts keep going away making my life agony. I live in reality, where she is not mine, even though I wished so. Dire is my love, and so I think of it, hoping it to go.
Why do we fall in love, and make our lives misery. When being so, I think of it only, ignoring the others around me. Even though I know, that she is just another, I think of her only. What will happen to me, I dare not think of, honestly.
Betrayed I have a few that I care of, and because of that I curse on it. Still love is something dear to me, and I thank it for thee.
How I wished you were mine, then would I change? Behind the wall, would you see the one meant for thee? If not so, then I wouldn’t change, and would not give my heart to thee.
Either way, you will not be mine, for you are only imaginary!

I am referring to a nice work by Dan Brown, Da vinci code, in which he's involved in a litigation regarding some theoretical backdrop info (actually the crux of the novel) that he did not credit to some british nonfiction writers who published their book years ago under, ironically the same publisher, Random house. It seems the better route (monetarily and fame-wise) to present one's ficiton as original, yet ethically.... he should have footnoted or something. Would his fame have been any less had he simply footnoted and gave credit? Did he simply forget?

We have been assigned to read 'Animal Farm' by George Orwell. I read it, and loved it, by the way. I would like to know which characters and events correspond to which figures and events related to the Russian Revolution. Also, what does Pinkeye (the pig who is made to taste Napoleon's food) signify?
