I could, but I would begin an immediate downwards spiral which would either end with me committing suicide or running through the streets of a large city, screaming 'my world for a page...my world for a page'.
Fahrenheit 451 gave me nightmares for weeks. (Sometimes I still dream that the firemen are after me...)

That first person is a loser and very rude, besides if she's right, i would be more of a geek.
Ok, here's what i mean.
Over the summer, i started this routine where i would read at least 1 chapter of the bible each night. Ao i do that. And i have to read for school, it is a biography, (it had to be, it wasn't my choice), and also i found a book that i really wanted to read, for for like, 2 days, i was reading three books at once, it wasn't difficult to remember everything because they are all totall different books. No i'm not a genius, i'm not stupid, but i'm not smart either. I consider myself normal, but i guess all people are like that, i'm just not an idiot, i can tell you that.
My favorite book? Gosh i don't know, seriously. Oh, i started this Series called Watching Alice. I only read 2 of the 4 books, so i'll try my best to get the other 2 from somewhere, i haven't gone to the library lately. The one at my school sucks. Aww! you didn't say what YOUR favorite book is. I always like people telling me what are good books to read, but they like never do. Anyway, i'm glad you love reading because that's really good. I never liked reading untill 2 years ago, in 8th grade, my teacher was an awesome teacher, but i think i just came across a book i loved, because it had to be a certain genre, it was historical fiction. I'm pretty sure it was called After the War. I think it was about the holocaust. I loved it. Then i got into science fiction. i haven't come across a romance novel that i felt like reading so, i don't know if i like them. I bet this is a really big respose or answer or what ever. I guess that would make me an even BIGGER geek in what her faces eyes.

Yes, I love to read!! Right now I reading the "Princess bride" . Its a wonderful book so far I love it. I love anything that's adventure and fantasy. My favorite books are All of the Narnia books, the never ending story ( the movie was nothing compared to the book) and Tuck every lasting. I also like to read classic books and pretty much all kinds of books. Have any good ideas on books? I really like fantasy stories because as childish as it sounds some day I actually think I might get to Narnia or Fantasia or some so called imaginary place, just the idea of that makes me want to read more. I try to finish a novel in a month, but it depends on the sizw of the book. I also read farly fast but to me how fast read doesn't matter at all its whether you remember what you read that matters. I probably could live with out reading but that would be very sad and I wouldn't want to. Speaking of reading I think after I am done with this question I'll go read. What kind of books do you like?

I love reading too. Right now I am going through a period of reading biographies or books about famous or interesting people . In the last monthI have read "King of the Sunset Strip" about Mickey Cohen, "If I Did It" about O.J. Simpson and "The Truth About Hillary" about Hillary Clinton. Right now I'm reading "Hustler Days" about the pool hustlers, Minnesota Fats, Whimpy Lassitor and Jersey Red. Next I'm going to read "The Heroine Diaries" about Nicky Sixx of Motely Crew, "Blonde Ambition" about the Death of Anna Nichole Smith, and "Underneath it All" the autobiogaphy of Traci Lords. But I also love novels and other types of nonfiction. I love all of Kurt Vonnegut's stuff. I really couldn't pick an all time favorite novel because there are so many that I have read cover to cover without being able to put down.

I try and read something for pleasure every day - usually on my long bus rides to and from work. I enjoy reading because it is a good escape from what can be a sad sad world.
I read a wide range of books but have a leaning towards reading sci-fi, fantasy, crime novels, and the odd funny romance - an odd mix that confuses people at times. I also tend to read books from across the age ranges as I am a librarian working in a public library and I work mainly with children and teenagers - but sometimes I need to read something more age appropriate :o)
My favourite author will probably always be Anne McCaffrey, she was the first author that I really enjoyed reading around the age of 10 - and I have enjoyed nearly every book that she has written over the years. My other favourites are Mercedes Lackey and James Patterson for adults, and Tamora Pierce for kids and teens.
I get through about 9 to 40 books a month - it just depends on how many of them are for kids and teens book reviews - and how many I am reading just because I want to.
Hope that answers your questions. And some people may tease people who enjoy reading, but just remember that without the literacy skills that you get from being able to read well - you probably couldn't read advanced computer manuals or help menus :o)

I read all the time. Right now i can't read much for fun because of school. Yeah college will do that to you. If i do however find time to read I go back and read some books that i already have. I have no time and no money to buy new books at the moment which really sucks. I used to read about 2 books at one time. and as far as what i read i read about anything.

I could live without books. Local schools of my hometown have developed a system called AR Accelerated Reader. Each student has a points goal which they must achieve or they don't get such a hot grade. This system has made it an obligation to read. And it took the fun right out of reading. It has been developed in a way that you can only read books on your level, so if there is a book you like, you cant read it at school if it is not your level, and isn't from the school library. So the books students are reading they are reading because they have to, not because they want to.
I go to the 8th grade and I am 14 years old. And because of AR I hate reading.

I try to read at least 4 books a month. Being a wife and mom has cut into my reading time so now it's more like 2 a month. I like mysteries and horror. The last book I read was "Lisey's Story" by Stephen King. It was a great read and it was so sad. I've read so many good ones I can't narrow it down to just one to call my favorite. :-)

Technically, no, but metaphorically yes. I love to read and always go through them fast, so I get four books at a time. If I don't have something good to read, I go crazy. My favorite books are "Touching Spirit Bear", "The Perks of Being a Wallfllower", and "Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell".
