Books & Authors - September 2007

People here have alluded to it but nobody knows the name. It is basically a list of publications (magazines etc.) outlining their rules for submission of articles from freelancers. Does anyone know the title??????

I know, I know, it's a totally different medium. AND when they make a book into a movie, the book is always better. Still, the question remains. I'll give you a few of mine, just to get you started. Maybe I'll watch a few of yours. 5-10 please; any more than that & I'll be forced to think you watch more than you write (lol).

I have wanted to be a writer since I can remember. It's just always been a passion of mine. Except, lately, I've been having trouble. I have so many ideas but when I try to get the ideas from my head onto paper, I freeze up or something. Can someone help me try to stop this so I can write and actually complete a story?

my english class has to read a historical fiction book. myy teacher said "summer of my german soldier" is a good book. she had it so i thought id borrow it and so i did. but before i start to read it, i just wanted to know somee feedback about the book. is it hard to read? will me, as an 8th grader, understand the meanings and theme of the book? will it keep me going, and not bored like other books? i hope its a book that once i start reading i cannot put downn. tell me what you think! thanksss :]

I'm looking for some really good books that targets teen audiences...I've already read the whole Harry Potter series, and the Darren Shan books as well, as most of the V.C. Andrews books...so I need some books that are suspensful and will keep my attention till the very end. Does anybody have any ideas?
