Get the CLEP study guide for English composition. This is a great refresher course.

I once thought of being a musician. My Grandma had contacts at the local big University, and a big professor gave me a private tour and interview. He took me to a class where 32 people were playing duets on 16 pianos at the same time. It was insanely awesome. I realized then that all these people had been playing since they were like 5 and 8. I had started when I was 14, self taught. I had talent, but I lacked the technical training and nothing short of a miracle would catch me up with these people. So I decided my first choice of profession should be what I did start learning at 5. How to computer program. I've also had a talent for writing since I was little, and I'm only just starting to dabble in that now that I've got a firm income.

First, "wanna" is NOT a word! You kids seem to think this is cute and it's NOT! It's "want to." Second, if you are in the dark about punctuation and grammar (don't you pay attention in English class?), I suggest you find some books on the subject at the library and study them. I would not try and tackle a (chuckle) book (you kids all think you write books when in reality you are just wasting time diddling in a medium you know nothing about), until I had punctuation, spelling, and grammar down cold!

There are many good books available at any good book store. You might want to start with a college book store and ask them for a "Style Manual" which you would use for the type of information you are looking for in writing term papers. These books are also excellent reference books for secretaries and journalists.
