I have just read the Diary of Anne Frank and am not sure whether it is a hoax or not. Maybe something has got lost in the translation.

it says harry is related to 1 of the 3 deathly hallows brothers because he got the invisibility cloak handed down to him. but then marvolo gaunt had a deathly hallows ring but thinks it is a royal family heirloom and that he is decended from royalty so doesnt this mean hes related 2 the brothers as well? and because hes voldemorts grandad voldemort is related to harry???

voldemort had seven horcruxes. and on pg 568 dumbledore says harry's the seventh horcrux. but if you count there are 8 horcruxes.

even if we agree that there is an 8th horcrux, hermione says that voldy's soul cannot be split beyond 7.

Looking for the name of the author/book series. Its like 6-7 books long and i was waiting on the last one to come out...the author was sent to the mayo clinic so it was delayed and he said if it was 1500 pages he'd end it. The series is fictional in a setting where witches had to go to special place when the spark was found in them so they didn't harm themselves or others. While if men had the spark in them they had to have it removed and once that happened they eventually lost the will to live. Its been awhile since i read them and cannot think of the name. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

i'm asking this from the book; not the movie. i recently finished the Deathly Hallows; and they never REALLY explain it. i know harry talks to luna about it near the end (in the book). he just falls through the veil and doesn't come back. i know the archway was in the department of mysteries; but WHAT WAS IT EXACTLY??? what do you think. please answer.

Okay, so I've decided to write a story and I have an idea, I just need some honest opinons :]

I'm thinking that theres an 18 year old girl living in Florida who's all excited for her summer of her Senior year but when school ends her parents break the news to her that they signed her up to be a counselor at a camp all the way up in Maine for 8 weeks. Her entire summer! She is used to getting whatever she wants coming from a wealthy family, so her parents want to teach her what hard work is and what it means to earn your own money. She has to leave behind her friends, and her perfect boyfriend she was looking forward to spending a lot of time with over the summer.
But, she has no choice. She'd be leaving right away.
And the story continues where she's at camp, starts out hating working there and working with all of the little "brats" of campers, sleeping in a smelly old cabin, and having to miss out on all the fun of her summer!
Then things begin to change when (cont.)

I'm looking for books of poetry (love and nature specifically), legends, folk-lore, fairy tales, and anything that has to do with history. I'd prefer really old manuscripts or really just anything that's old and out of date, but new and somewhat updated is fine too.

I read about one on Yahoo!. however, I can't remeber the site. basically you could submit essays, research papers, stories etc. and other people would read and comment on them. I just want to know what the website is(if there is more than one that you know of, then you can give me all the sites). I know there is atleast one out there.

I'm trying to write a long 500 or 600 page novel. I've tried before but none of my plots really work out, and my passions for certain types of stories isn't really sparking. Maybe I'm not righting it the best way? Like, what would be better and easier to write, past tense or present tense? What would the reader read with more liking and ease?
