Do you know a fic entitled 'Mistaken Identity'? I'm looking for it. I want to read it again, but I can't find it anywhere. Here's what I remember about the fic:

Ginny wants to 'enhance' her chest, and she wants to do it the muggle way. So while she's in surgery, she wants Hermione, who was quite similar to her, to be her for the time she's gone. And while she's acting to be Ginny, she meets again Draco, a friend of Seamus who is Ginny's--the real Ginny--fiance.

It's a postHogwarts fic. Do you know it? Where could I read it again. I tried looking for it in ff.net, but it's already erased. Who has it in their computer?

I don't think she should, I think that Harry should just get to have a normal vacation to Hawaii with Ron, Hermione and Sirius.

He's an excellent reader for his age. He absolutely adores the Captain Underpants books by Dave Pilkey and has read each of them many times. He favors books that are about gross things, you know typical eight year old boy stuff. If anyone has any suggestions that would be fabulous.

ok for ap junior english they gave us a list of summer books & we can pick a few to read, any of these you would suggest?:
Autobiography of Malcom X
October Sky
Black Boy
The Hunger of Memory
Dust Tracks on a Dirt Road
Pilgrim at Tinker Creek
Nickel and Dimed
All the President's Men
A Hole in My Life

also, we can choose our own as long as they apply in some way to "The American Dream" and is comparable in merit to the other books on the list. any others you would suggest besides ones on the list that deal with this same topic?

Memoirs of a Geisha. I hate when I fall in love with a good book, because it ends up consuming me for a time. It was just, it was just... SUCH AN ENTERTAINING READ! Very quick, and cativating, it literally kept my attention the whole way through, which is quite a feat.

Any way, the purpose of this post is simple. I'm asking for recommendations on books about geisha OR the Japanese culture in general, fiction or otherwise. Feed me. *slobbers*

Please don't give me the names of contests that ask for fees. Whether or not it is specifically for teens doesn't matter. I can write short stories, stories, and essays. I don't have much experience in writing plays or poems, but please include them anyway if possible. I'm a high school student if that helps. Whether or not the deadline is over doesn't matter. Research papers or how ____ has changed my life aren't exactly my strong points.

I already know about the

Kaplan Essay Contest

Signet contest for classics

Ayn Rand essay contest

National High School Essay Contest

Could you include the policies regarding submitted work if possible?

If you include the link that directly leads to the page on how the requirements and how to enter, that would be helpful.

I'm entering 10th grade honors English next year and I have to read 2 books over the summer because we're going to do essays and projects with them.

There are 4 to choose from:

Brave New World - by Aldous Huxley
Kitchen God's Wife - by Amy Tan
Quicksand - by Nella Larsen
Love in the Time of Cholera - by Gabriel Garcia Marquez

I don't know anything about any of these books and I'd like to hear some of your opinions on these because I don't want to end up reading a boring book that I puts me to sleep every time I start.

I'd really appreciate any help anyone can give me.

My ex-boyfriend treated me like a piece of trash for five years, stringing me along and getting money from me. He thought I was not good enough for him to get married with. I married a man that loves me, but I can't make myself have feelings for him and can't take the other out of my mind. Is this a good book?

I'm so tired of of sifting through Fantasy at the local bookstore and finding works that are little more than a string of cliches, marketed for the likes of children and teens, strung together on end. I'm tired of stories that center around the trials of a "ye auld rural peseant boy who must save world from ULTIMATEZ EVIL," or the interaction of children who embark on some sort of epic quest.

I want moral complexity, adult content, and a logical inclusion of events that should take place in a fantasy setting. See this list?
http://members.ozemail.com.au/~imcfadyen/notthenet/fantasy.htm

I want a book that breaks the cliches, which typify most fantasy literature, mentioned on that list. I'm sick of crap like the WoT, SoT, Farseer, etc.

The only fantasy that I have enjoyed in recent years was George Martin's ASoIF. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
