Haunted was a fantastic book. It was about a group of writers that answered an ad for a writing workshop, only to find themselves locked up in a gruesome house where one by one they die. Throughout the book are a series of short stories that these characters have written, and some of them are pretty graphic. If you like to read things that will make you cringe and want to vomit, pick up this book right now! Also, "Guts" was by far the best of the short stories!

I have read "Lullaby" and "Fight Club". I enjoyed both of them and plan on reading "Choke" and "Survivor" next. If you like Palahniuk, you might try some Tom Robbins. "Jitterbug Perfume", "Even Cowgirls Get the Blues", or "Another Roadside Attraction". Another recommendation might be O'toole's "Confederacy of Dunces". I have also heard of Palanhiuk being compared to Vonnegut. I personally don't see it, but well, what do I know? I

I thought Haunted was the best... After that I would have to choose Survivor, then Invisible Monsters, then Choke... They are all good... Except I don't really like the new one.
