My ex-boyfriend treated me like a piece of trash for five years, stringing me along and getting money from me. He thought I was not good enough for him to get married with. I married a man that loves me, but I can't make myself have feelings for him and can't take the other out of my mind. Is this a good book?

Yes, anyone can write a story about their own life. You just have to have the motivation and make it interested enough to read. But, I think this would work. It sounds like something I would read.

I've noticed you keep asking this question. You should just write it. Writing a story is a lot of investment. Obviously you think it's a good story (and that's the first thing that matters.) Once you're finished with it, then you send it to a publisher/agent. Then THEY will be able to tell you if it's good enough.

All writers take chances.

Sure, but it's all in the presentation. A good plot can suck as a story if it is too dramatic, too obvious or too whiny. Try getting a few books on writing narratives or take a class and you could write a really good book.

Sorry, no your life is not that tragic. Many people are involved in abusive relationship that are really abusive, not he stung me along and got money from me. And why would you marry a man whom you do not love?? Seems that what you seek is approval from others, learn to love yourself first.

I wouldn't be particularly interested in it...
Try giving the audience a reason for reading it. Like you have all of this hurt and confusion- So What?
Write about what you learn from all of it.
That might give the book a little more "flavor"

Sounds good...although it's kind of too common. I'm sure most people have been through it, so it'd have to be more of a self-help sort of thing. If you're trying to write a biography, no one's going to read it because most of them have probably been through it. You're going to have to have some mad writing skills, or you're going to have to have some really interesting characters, a la "Running with Scissors."

Yes! Wonderful! My family was an abusive one - my father was an abuser, and my mother, when they divorced, wrote her life into a book. It should be published soon . . . but it sounds so alike, but yet so different. It would be a wonderful book if you wrote it!

Hmm...it's a start. Lol, but if you want it to be a best seller you have to have some crazy twist, like your ex-boyfriend is really in some secret organization and he has to assaniate your husband, who really is a ninja.

Depends on how it is written.

Sit don and just write - and then try to find a publisher and/or an agent, and you'll find out.
