Letting go

Love is hard to leave
Letting go is harder than seems
A sweet gentle is all you might miss
But to someone else it’s heavenly bliss
Letting go doesn’t mean to stop loving
It means to stop hurting

Forgetting is hard to do
A kiss can’t be forgotten
A touch is easy to miss
To love and forget is highly impossible
Letting go doesn’t mean to forget the memories
It means to stop letting them haunt you

It was anti-climactic, and disappointing to me. What do you think?

I'm writing my dissertation about Fantasy literature in Britain and America and I have so many books for the British side but not so many for the American side.

I need examples of works in which people (especially children) start in the real world and go to another world. Like Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Narnia, The Wizard of OZ, Harry Potter etc.

Any ideas?

just when that former guard died recently it made me wonder about him. I would really like to read about what went on and if they ever really found his body etc... I am not a nazi, am appalled by what happened.

I read the book "A Million Little Pieces" and LOVED it, because that's the sort of material I like reading about.

It's about an ex-drug addict and his "adventures" during his 6 weeks of rehab.

It sounds weird, but I basically like messed up books.

Any suggestion as to what else I should check out?

Obviously, not all characters are lovable. But the protagonist usually is, which is often what makes readers want to finish a novel. What strategies do author's use to make their audiences love their characters?

I am looking for a couple of books by Êsa Abd Allah Muhammad al-Mahdi, but so far have been turning up dry. I could be spelling the name incorrectly; but those who know h.i.m. will know whom I seek.

Anyone know?

I've seen ads for The Last Theorem for a couple years now, but no book. Anyone got any info on this. Be quite astonishingly cool if the old guy could turn out another tome.

I just read this poem today and I don't really understand it. Especially when he says "There is an empty place in my metaphysical shape that no one can reach: a cloister of silence that spoke with the fire of its voice muffled". What are the empty place, metaphysical shape, a cloister of silence represent for? and why is poet saying that the cloister of silence that spoke with the fires of its voice muffled?

Alright I need 2 names for the main characters in my story.

Female:
Scienctist (just out of college) (major in marine), smart, athletic, American, age: mid 20s

Male:
Military Personal, smart, strong, American, age:28

They are almost like the two main characters from The Mummy (love that movie). I love the name Evelyn, but do not wish to use it (almost like copying). Richard is cool too, but again, copying.

I think I am going to go with Dimitri for his first name, but I still need opinions!! Oh, and I wish for them to have a longer name and therefore get a nickname. (I know Dimitri doesn't fall in that category, but I just love that name)

Need first and last!! Please and Thank You!!
