Take a moment to think about the one person you know who gets into the most trouble, and write about them. You might want to change the name so you don't offend that person, but you can write about all of the weird and crazy and unthinking things they do, and what happens after wards. If you change the name you can also exaggerate what happens, you can make up some things, although keep it always believable and also you can fudge on the truth. Real people do things that fictional characters could never get away with.

well i think it depends on what you're good at writing
if you're a romantic-
childhood sweet hearts are separated by a war. She follows her dream to be a nurse and helps with the war. He's drafted into the army and he's injured. They meet again when he goes to the nurse. You can tweak it the way you want
If you're a drama kind of writer-
a mysterious plague infects the world, kind of like small pox but it's completely new. the main character is a scientist and is determined to finds the vaccine. He goes boating to relax his mind before he gives it to the world but a storm throws him off course. You can go from there
If you're a sci-fi writer-
a small island was completely isolated aside from when it was populated by humans about 100,000 years ago. They make their own human race and they are slightly different from the rest of the humans, but not much is too different. They are just as smart and has learned that there is an outside world. You continue it.
If you're a mystery writer-
During a horrible storm, a child was coming home from school only to find that his whole family has disappeared. He/she calls the police. They contact his relative, aunt uncle whatever, but they too are gone. He/she grows up, never able to get over it. Tweak away.
If you're into fantasy-
a small cult interbreeds and passes down a unique trait, they have four eye-colors, in one eye, half the eye would be one color and the other half another color and the other eye has a different pair of eye colors. They hold true to the wiccan faith and try to spread their genetics and religion to the world and would kill anyone who denies it. I know it's kinda wierd, but hey it's unique...kinda
good luck writing!

Well I don't know what area of writing you are talking about but you might like writing fiction. Take your day write it down and turn it into something that is bizzare. For the normal case of writers block keep a journal. Write down your stupid ideas and keep them because one day they won't be so stupid. You will soon use them as reference for your next piece. If that is not working write about someone that you love. Write about the events in your life so far. Good Luck!!

I can't really tell you, maybe if you gave some details, if you're talking about a general subject than go with a romantic adventure, those always work in the movies:
-Main character wants love interest
-main charcter gets in trouble
main character fixes problem
main charcter gets love interest
simple. now all you have to do is put some meat on it
it helps to do research, just go in google and look for the things you like and something is bound to hit you. search for peoples countries, things you like to do (or don't)
