Bound's hubby here:

HELP! I am a finicky reader. Of late, I have enjoyed only the fictional work of Tom Clancey and Stephen Hunter. SInce 9/11, Clancey has written only one book, a rebuttal to the 9/11 terrorists. I have read all of the works of Clancey and Hunter, and am starved for some good reading in their style.

Can anyone recommend an author who writes in a style similar to Clancey and Hunter? I enjoy their multiple plot/complex style blended with accurate depictions but room left to the reader to visualize the events and scenes.

Thanks!

In 'The Prophet', Kahlil Gibran (a poet from Lebanon) writes on love. I don't think yahoo will give me the space to type it here for you, you might get it by typing, Kahil Gibran, 'The Prophet', and see what he has written 'On Love' in your search engine.

I'm looking for the best sites where I can download audio books. Here is what I'm interested in:

1. Completely FREE downloads
2. Unlimited downloads (or as many as I can get) for 1 low
monthly fee.
3. Pay per audio book (as low of a cost as possible)

I'm looking for popular authors, such as Stephen King, Mark twain, Anne Rice, etc.

I'm also looking for a wide range of genres, such as Horror, Classics, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Children's/Young Adult, etc.

Let me know if you highly recommend the site, and if you have had personal positive experience with it. Also, links would be very helpful. Thank you.

I have just read complete and uncut version of 'the stand' and found the ending a little disappointing. It feels like you go on a journey and then... It's over. I thought the end was over too quick and i felt a little cheated. Has anyone read it and felt the same way? I loved the book and couldn't put it down so this was a litte putting off.
