It is not a classic book with classic tales. It was probably published sometime around the 1970's-80's. I don't remember the name of the book, but it contained short stories and poems. One of the stories I remember had a picture of an apartment building cut in half where you could see the things and people inside it. It was my fav! I know this is not much info, but that is all i can remember. I want this book for my son. I know he will love it as much as I did.

did any one else read it and what did you think of it? I thought this would be such a great movie if done properly - it was in the late 1800s and done very acuratley. The bibliography was about 30-50 pages long with quotes from old newspapers, magazines, police logs etc. Has this author done anything lately? I cannot even remember who wrote it. Any info would be of help.

John (Age 26) has a brother, named George (age 24), and ever since John had accidentally crippled George in a riding accident, John had felt it his duty to make George happy, more out of guilt than love for his brother (is this phsycologically possible?).As George's fiancee abandoned him because she'd been grossed out with his crippled legs (she was a shallow girl) John felt it his duty to find him another girl. He does, but soon falls in love with the girl himself. That girl and George marry. But then one day, John gives George an overdoes of opium, and George dies. Why would George, a self-righteous (?) and dutiful man, kill his brother by giving him an overdoes of opium?

I have just cleaned out my house and I have some nice books (only ready once & not damaged) that I would like to sell but I'm not sure if it would be worth it in the end because of shipping and packaging. Disney made an animated move loosely based on parts of each book. However, what book did they take the most information from? What name did they use and in that book who was the villain? The sword Taran was using did not truly get used until what Book? This last one is way off but how did Dallben get the book of three?
