I can't find it but may-be you could look on the web, I am talking about a group who like you finishes a book but they leave it where it was finished with a note encouraging whoever picks it up to do the same when they are finished. Thank-you and God Bless You and Our Southern People.

Half Priced Books will buy your used books. Not for much, but you'll make a couple bucks. If you don't have a Half Priced Books in your area then I'm sure you have other used book stores (and you'll be able to find them in your yellow pages). They'll be happy to take your books. There's also donation, which is nice for those who don't have much money and like to read!

Try selling them to used book stores, or you could sell them on ebay. However, if you do consider donation, there are other places besides your local library or high school or college library.
Women's shelters, Homeless shelters and Mission houses for the poor, houses or residences set up for families of critically ill or injured persons, etc. These places can use the help. Otherwise, you could try selling them on Amazon, or eBay. Good luck.

you could sale them on Amazon.com or Ebay.com but What I did with mine and I have alot is I found a local 2nd hand book store where I take my books too, they take paperback as well as hardcover, they give me 1/2 of the sale price in a credit so I can turn around and buy more books from them with the credit that they give me. This allows me to buy all the current titles that I yearn for and it doesn't cost a cent except the tax she does require I pay tax on the credit! So its great sometimes I walk out of the store and pay 2.00 for 3-5 books that I want to read! good luck I hope this helps you

You can trade them on paperbackswap.com! All you have to do is pay for shipping for the books you send, usually around 1.50- you can even print out the packing label on regular computer paper and make an envelope out of it! If you don't want to trade, donate! Call local schools and libraries

If you have a local Hastings sometimes they buy used books in good condition. Or, a used bookstore will pay you for your used books. However, if none of that works, you might donate them to your local adult education program and ask for a receipt to use as a tax deduction. You aren't getting money up front for them - but it will help you with your taxes.

Usually, it is difficult to sell used books unless they were best sellers or first editions. I would suggest joining someone who is having a garage sale, but the money won't amount to much. I take mine to the library and the ones that they don't want they give to a group who distributes them to the poor, or to jails, hospitals, etc. I like to think that all of them will be read again, and maybe someone else will enjoy it as much as I did.

Pass them on to family and friends and maybe they'll return the favor . Donate them to worthy causes . The few cents you gain for books at garage sales is not as satisfying as the above .

Donating them to a local library would be a noble thing. Books don't usually bring in that much money unless they're something really special, like an antique or signed edition, etc.
Or you can put them away to use in a yardsale, but again, it wouldn't be much money.

U should sell them 2 a used book store. If that doesn't work out, I'm sure your local library would be glad 2 have them!
