did any one else read it and what did you think of it? I thought this would be such a great movie if done properly - it was in the late 1800s and done very acuratley. The bibliography was about 30-50 pages long with quotes from old newspapers, magazines, police logs etc. Has this author done anything lately? I cannot even remember who wrote it. Any info would be of help.

Erik Larson just came out with a new book. The title is Thunderstruck. I believe it's the same type of book but you can check bn.com for the summary

It was by Erik Larson and it was a good book; the presence of two separate stories would pose a challenge to a filmmaker, though.
