Hey guys i am a huge harry potter fan and i have alot of theorys of the new titlr and things that might happen! But i wnat to hear what you guys think! what is all your thworys on what will happen? whats all your thoerys about the title of the 7th book! Just tell me you know u wanna!

I think that Snape is going to play the key role. I think he killed Dumbledore on Dumbledore's orders...and is now somehow placed to help Harry when Harry is about to deliver the death blow. In helping Harry, Snape will also end up sacrificing himself. Harry is going to somehow save Malfoy...Malfoy will help as well. Harry will apologize to Snape for his father...this is going to play some role as well i suspect. I think Hagrid is going to die....not sure why....just a gut feeling. Lupin might be on the chopping block...he's the last of the 4 friends. One or more of the Weasleys....but probably not Ron. I think one of the twins.....the other is devastated. I want to see Neville play a large part in this one. I think harry is going to drop out of school, but take the job as Defense against the dark arts professor at the end.

I think that the title of the book means that Harry is going to Grodic Hallows. ( where his parents lived) And he is going to die there ( maybe) Harry IS going to die though...and more people are supposed to die...I'm a huge fan too...I know almost ( i'll admit it) everything about the Harry Potter books...so please ask more interesting questions( only problem is I'm not always on ) Cause of School ( I hate school) OOPss sorry, where was i again, umm anyways i believe Harry is a Horcrux and has to die with Voldemort. People have been having rumors of Mrs. Weasley and Snape dying which i Strongly DISagree with. Snape i think is going to fight on Harry's side or even try to save him...Ron and Hermione will be couples...JK has already stated that... People still think that Harry and Hermione are going to end up together even though she said that they wouldn't...THAT'S why JK puts in cute things in the books with Harry and Hermione just to mess around with those FOOLS!!!! My other thoery is that Sirius is not dead!! They never technically said that he was dead and that he fell through that veil (that she never explained yet)!! Harry and Luna heard voices BEFORE Sirius fell through the veil sooo he probably isn't dead!! And one more thing i would like to say TONKS STAY AWAY FROM LUPIN!!!!! Sorry, it's just that i love lupin and he is my favorite character...I have more thoerys but i'm getting tired of typing and i'm running out of time...sign...

Snape does in fact play a good guy in this one. Why he killed dumbledore will probably (or just will) be found out in Deathly Hallows. Oh hell, here goes some facts from the official site!
Headmaster Albus Dumbledore, who was murdered in Half-Blood Prince, has an important role in the final book - even though he is dead...
Severus Snape (played by Alan Rickman in the Harry Potter films) is actually a good character.
Harry's aunt, Petunia Dursley, will have a very important part in the final book.
Not said at the reading, but strongly implied... Harry, Ron and Hermione will survive book seven.
Stephen King, reading from his work at the same New York benefit, asked whether Harry Potter’s rival Draco Malfoy would be redeemed. Rowling answered that all her characters except Lord Voldemort, “appear redeemable” and that Harry firmly believed that Draco Malfoy was not evil.
JKR added that book seven will explain the deep connection between a wizard and his wand.
There is a rumor that Harry may die in book 7...An article in the UK's Mirror reveals, "Actor Jim Dale - the voice of the teenage wizard in the US audio books - believes the seventh and final installment will spell the end for Harry." Yet Jo seemed to nix that idea when answering questions in New York.
Dumbledore is not out of the picture (or should we say he is in the picture?) All of the prior headmasters of Hogwarts live on in their portraits. Dumbledore will be around in book seven to guide and advise Harry. We believe that Snape and Dumbledore planned the death scene in book six to make Voldemort think that the only wizard more powerful had been eliminated. Snape did what needed to be done at Dumbledore's command.
Which means that the Half-Blood Prince will turn out to be a good guy!
The forces of evil are strong and growing stronger. There will be many battles and adventures as Harry searches for the pieces of Voldemort's soul that are hidden throughout the world. He will find and destroy all but one of them. The last piece will be saved for the big finale...
The speculation on many sites is that the big death in book seven will be Harry himself. We think this is almost true...in a way.
It has been foretold that Harry will have the power to destroy Voldemort :
"The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches, born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies, and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not, and either must die at the hand of the other, for neither can live while the other survives"
We now know that Harry and the Dark Wizard can look into each others' thoughts. Dumbledore speculated that part of Lord Voldemort's powers were passed to Harry during the attack giving him the ability to speak to snakes and increasing his natural powers.
The death curse that killed his parents did not kill Harry, but left him with a scar that aches when Voldemort is close by. The speculation has always been Harry's mother, Lily, blocked the death curse. Her sacrifice was motivated by the oldest magic, pure love for her son. How angry and jealous would that have made Tom Riddle, who had never experienced love from his mother or anyone else? What could be the most horrible revenge he could inflict on the boy wizard?
Could it be that Voldemort used Harry to store one piece of his soul? This would mean that even if Harry did destroy him, he would still have a life as long as Harry existed.
What better ending than to have Harry, who is pure goodness and Voldemort who is the embodiment of evil meet in a struggle within Harry's mind. Both personalities would be destroyed in the battle with the surviving Harry Potter/Voldemort persona becoming the union of good and evil.
This is basically the solution that Neo and the agent Smith found in the Matrix movies. Pure good and pure evil join into one powerful balanced personality...yin and yang.
Neither can be whole without the other. The merged Harry would take a new name to indicate that he is a balanced blend of good and evil. This new person would be as moral as any other normal wizard.
We suspect that Hermione will have a hand in keeping Harry alive. Love saved him in the beginning and will push the balance in Harry's favor in the final meeting with Voldemort.

BTW, Im anxious about Snape being a good guy! I never thought of the portrait thing. Jo really knows how to trick people! But alas, we have yet to read the book, so we'll just have to wait to see if all the facts the people are finding on the internet or true. Only one person knows whats true and what is false. That is J.K Rowling.

Snape will turn out to be good. Remember he is a highly gifted legilimens?, and perhaps the 2nd most powerful wizard to the now deceased Dumbledore. Snape, because he was saved by Harry's Dad (James Potter) is bound to repay his life debt. No matter how much he dislikes Harry he must do whatever he can to save him and will (by probably sacrificing his life). I believe Draco will redeem himself and may wind up fighting beside Harry. I have a weird feeling about Hagrid--he's pretty expendable-- so we may see him killed. Neville quite possibly is the chosen one and he's sort of coming into his own, I bet he kills Bellatrix.

I have many a theory, to many to type out. I will say one, I think that somthing will happen to make Harry the Defense against the dark arts teacher. I glanced over the other questions and saw this, I was surprised to see someone shared the same thought. I don't know, anything is possible.

Snape is a good guy. Dumbledore arranged his own "murder" so that You-Know-Who would trust Snape.
Dumbledore comes back from the dead or at least communicates from beyond the veil.
Hermione & Ron. Harry & Ginny.
Harry rescues Draco from the dark side. Draco becomes good guy and helps Harry.
Harry and the Dersleys reconsile.
Harry to teach DADA at Hogwarts.

okay , i would like to cry at first , because the theory of harry potter get killed in the 7th book isn't a theory any more i hope she chages her mind and let harry potter live
now my theories are:
wormtail making a disguise and stay with harry potter pretending to be his friend.
ron getting a really bad injury
hermione and victor get together again.
and ofcourse harry potter get another kiss.
one more thing i am sure ron's sister kiss someone , I AM SURE!

Okay.... for everyone that says "Neville is really the chosen one" that is not correct. In choosing to kill harry after hearing the prophecy he gave harry the "power and necessary tools to do defeat him". Not neville. that is the whole point of the prophecy, that Harry is the Chosen one because Voldemort picked him, not neville!!

snape is good. thats the way it is.dumbledore will make an appearence. the two way mirrors are going to be used, but sirius is dead. harry will most likely die. him and ginny will hopefully get together. regulus(sp?) is R.A.B. almost 100% positive. something important about lily. and green eyes. someone non-magical will show magical something.
