I really need advice on how to word things correctly. Like if the character is thinking something, then what is a good way to bring he/she back to the present. Or when you are talking from the main characters point of view, and you want to switch to another, when is it good timing to switch, and then go back. Anything like this or related will be great. thank you.

Heyy Everyone!

So, today in English..we read "The Lady, or the Tiger?"...and I aboslutely loved it! I think that the lady came out of the door and into the arena because most lovers would want their loved one to live...not die.

What do you think?

If you haven't read it yet..here's the link! you shud read it..its a wonderful story!

Legality issues aside, because I know a large number of people disagree with writing fan fiction, but....
do you read it? What fandom do you prefer?

Does anyone know the name of the type of filthy creature that Gulliver encountered in the land of Houyhnhnms (in Jonathan Swift’s famous “Gulliver’s Travels”).

I have to read a book by Feb. 16th, and an optional one that will raise my grade by a lot, due Jan. 19. I was wondering which of the following books are the shortest (besides The Little Prince, I'll be reading that one for the Feb. 16th book report): http://img82.imageshack.us/img82/4418/bookreportbooksqx7.png

Which do you prefer? Personally I prefer The Lord of the Rings, and I am really annoyed when Eragon fans say the book did not copy it. J.R.R. Tolkien was a literary genius. I did read Eragon, and after getting past the fact it was a rip-off ( Eragon=Aragorn?) it was a decent read. The movie sucked, though. So what do you think?
