they were about girls in boarding school, I think in New England. They were old at the time (maybe ten years ago) and maybe out of print then.......any help? Thanks!

The books took place in basically present day times. From what I remember they were probably set in the 1980s. Thanks!

There was a series called Trebizon about an all-girls boarding school in England that's quite old. That's all I can think of...

I read a series like that when I was young but I can't remember the name to save my life! All I do remember is that I spent quite a while trying to convince my parents to send me to boarding school after reading them!

Could be the St.Clare series or Malory Tower series by Enid Blyton.
