I am 14 and a rapid reader. I am looking for a new book/series to read. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm looking for some good sites that host Harry Potter/Buffy crossover fanfiction. I've already done many of the ones on fanfiction.net, went through the 'Back In Giles' Day...' thread at fictionalley.org, and have worked my way through Twisting the Hellmouth.

Anyone know any other good sites, thread, or just have a link to a good fic?

Is self-publishing worth it? I am a young writer who really wants to get published. I write fiction/fantasy. All the information I've found about publishing is like a horror story about how hard it is. I recently went to a self-publishing site. It seems like a good idea, but it's so expensive! Does anyone know whether it's worth it?

Life goes by so quickly,
We must live it.
Before we discover it has passed through our fingertips,
Then it will be too late to live and love and learn.

Life is a speeding road,
We have to just enjoy the ride.
Because when it stops,
We travel into the unknown.

We only live once,
Why not live like you want to?
Your last day could be today,
Even though we pray to God it isn't.

With life, you never know,
Live and be happy, and you will grasp life.
Instead of letting it just drift on by,
And having no time to live and to love and to learn.
