I'm writing a book of poems and short stories, but I really don't have the money to publish it myself and i think that if I had a good agent and publisher it will sell better. But I don't know where to start.

All I remember about the story is that it's a true account and the woman was one of many that was shot along the edge of a mass grave. The bullett goes into her head, but out and she passes out and three days later wakes up in this mass grave. It's a story about her survival. I heard about it when I was in junior high and I really want to find the book - it sounds so interesting.

Even though I am single and without children, I find it hard to devote the time and energy to my writing. This is something that during and after college I gave a lot of my time to, but I found that as the years rolled by my work and social life seemed to take more of me than I ever wanted to give. I still have plenty of ideas, it is just hard for me to concentrate on the actual task of writing. I need some tips from fellow writers!

For example, in book 6, snape is arguing with dumbledore in the woods about not wanting to do something, and dumbledore tells him that he has to do it. This tells me, or rather, leads me to believe that Snape did not want to kill Dumbledore, that he was trying to find another way to deal with Malfoy and reverse the pact he made with Malfoy's mother. I believe that Dumbledore did not die, but found another way to live on. I think Snape is still on the good side, and is a really good actor. For the argument about Dumbledore saying no to Snape right before Snape killed him, that was all part of the show. Now, I know this is going to get some bad reviews, but I can almost bet I am right, atleast part of the way, if not all of it. And if I am right, I should like win something or something.

The character is a dark type male high school student. He is handsome, but has an attitude problem against other people. He gets into fights and enjoys tormenting other people for their pain because he believes all humans are animals. I don't want to give away too much. It seems cliche for now, but I will give it a twist. I would like some suggestions, but an automatic 10 points goes to someone who can give me a good way to come up with my own names.

I love books and I've read many of the classics, some heavy literature, a lot of best sellers, or even the fun chicklites. But lately I can not get into any book. I can't seem to be able to get into anything that's too slow-paced or too heavy, yet anything I pick up that's supposed to be a "light" read, reveals to be a pointless waste of time. Have you read a book you got hooked on lately??

I'm just looking for some encouragement. How long did it take you to get published? What genre do you write for? Do you have any suggestions?

I've been reading romance novels since I was 10 years old. Started out with typical Harlequin dime novels and worked my way up to Nora Roberts and Kinley McGregor. I enjoy other genres but I always seem to go back to romance. I have a bad day and I get out my stack of Silhouette and/or Harlequin novels. I feel almost dependant on romance novels.

How can I stop my dependance on these books? Is there a support group?
