Joshua 1:8 says if you meditate on God's word and observe to do according to all that is written you will make your way prosperous and have good success. Can't beat that! It works, I am 45 and have found God to be true and of course real. Start reading the New Testament so that you will know what God's word is. The gospel of John is a great one to start with.

In college the key to success is:
1. Go to class
2. Go to class
3. Go to class
Do what your teachers say. Turn everything in. Do a really good job on it. Try to get the most out of your education. Don't waste time criticizing others. Get your work and learning done. Don't drink or do drugs. Hang with other people who are doing their homework and trying to learn.

Stay focused and work hard. Find something you enjoy and then it isn't work. Take your responsibilities seriously. Deliver results when promised. Don't make excuses. As a CPA, these are things that have worked well for me in my profession.

Setting priorities, and keeping them straight. Realize what's most important to you, and don't let yourself get sidetracked with parties, people, drugs, etc. Focus ONLY on those priorities.
