its funny you should ask two months ago i fell while carrying some pipe and broke the orbital floor (thata the bone your eyeball sits on) was told that had I not wore my glasses it could have been much worse but surely you have seen enough television that you can see how a fall can kill you depending on what you fall on people have fallen getting out of a pool and drowned tripped in their living room and hit their head on the coffe table and broke their neck if you want real answeres to your questions talk to an ambulance driver or your local coroner they have all the stories

drowning not knowing how to swim, not looking and walking in front of a car, diving in water and not knowing there is a broken tree at the bottom, speeding around construction worker and hitting them,climbing a mountain and falling. I hope i was able to help with your story.

riding onthe outside ofof the car or struck by lightening in a field or poisoned by antifreeze in a cup or burned up smoking in bed or shot hunting with friends diving into a shallow water and hitting your head and struck dead by a bowling ball that slips off a sweaty hand i can keep going
