I like "The Da Vinci Code," because it's the best movie so far based on a book. I didn't like the movie "Slaughterhouse-five," for example... I think that that was the worst movie based on a book.

Not necessarily the ones who are popular, but rather ones whose work will be taught in school in decades to come. And...this is the important part...why?

i cant understand the greatness of this book. Characters are very plain, the plot is linear, poetry is boring, mythology stolen. and the only impressive thing is elf's language, but how many people did actually learn it??

The book is set in India, a poor man is arressted by the police because he appeared on the game show "Who wants to be a millionaire" winning the top prize. He is accussed of cheating but goes on to explain how he knew the answers to the fifteen questions because they related to his life somehow. Does anyone know the title and author of the book?

I'm writing a novel about sex and teens. All at the same time, it's soul purpose is to empower PEOPLE, not just women, but the younger generation that will eventually take over. Could you guys give me some suggestions as to what could happen in the novel. PLEASE! I'm trying to empower the younger generation about sex, drugs, alcohol, abusing your parents and teachers, not wanting to learn...All of the above. Stories? Anything? Remember, that these people that I'm trying to help are people such as your little brother or sister, neighbor, best friend, YOU, your children...

It is said that Snape aided draco's task to murder dumbledore.
We all know that Snape was a death eater. But would he really conjure Avada Kadava on his old friend? Or is somebody else behind the said "murder" but who?

We started reading it in my history class, but we didn't finish it because everyone thought it was boring because the author was reading it on tape. Someone told me that they killed Piggy, is that true? What else happened? I was so sad when I found that out, just making sure it's true. Piggy rocked!

Salt in my wounds.
Dirt in my eyes.
Tears in my coffee.

I miss you.
I miss you like the sun misses the moon,
the rain misses the gray clouds
the ink misses the quill.

My cold hands reach for a knife.
I stab myself in the heart.
The place where you last touched me long ago.

Blood errupts from my wounds and spills to the floor.

I cry for you............

I need you to live.........

But know youre gone and life has no pourpse.
