I'm writing a novel about sex and teens. All at the same time, it's soul purpose is to empower PEOPLE, not just women, but the younger generation that will eventually take over. Could you guys give me some suggestions as to what could happen in the novel. PLEASE! I'm trying to empower the younger generation about sex, drugs, alcohol, abusing your parents and teachers, not wanting to learn...All of the above. Stories? Anything? Remember, that these people that I'm trying to help are people such as your little brother or sister, neighbor, best friend, YOU, your children...

This isn't about THEM doing these things, it's about someone ELSE, doing these things and the side effects. The best way to empower people or to help them understand a certain situation is to be upfront with them. These days, you can hardly get them to sit down with you for 5 minutes to listen...But children do read. All the while, the main character is doing these things and is NOT enjoying them. It's something that I like to call "peer pressure". It's not as if I'm TELLING them to do these things, that would be stupid of me. People learn from their own experiences and others.

Try to find and read some of Epicurus letters, or some about or against him!
You will be surprised to understand how current he is and how greater we will be if and when we just read what he wrote so long ago!

U could have someone almost die, i had a friend that started doing Ecstasy when we were 14 by the time we where 15 she had to do 8 at a time to get high, she almost died and the only reason she didn't was cause her high boyfriend panicked about her dying in his house and dumped her outside the emergency room. I had another friend who turned to drugs and alcohol (need some new friends lol) when her parents split up, she got in with the wrong crowd, but she eventually turned herself around and is really successful now. That should be in ur book, no matter how bad it gets u can turn it around if u really want to. I think ur book is a good idea, as teens we need to know others have done this kinda stuff and still come through it!Hope i helped, Good Luck!!!

I'm not sure that I want to help, I mean I don't really want my little sister or my friend rebelling, doing drugs that can kill them, having causal sex that could damage there life or health, or that they should not bother with school only to end up in some dead end job.

But hey if you going to write a novel like that make it based on real life and not some rosy end that everything turns out right.
