does anyone else love the harry potter books and movies and if so why .. i love them too im just wondering becuase no one of my friends likes them and id like to talk to people about it ... can u help?

I love the books and the movies are OK the first wo movies are the best to me. I also love reading fanfiction which is what I'm doing now.

I love the books because I became more interested in reading books after I read them. They also helped me increase my vocabulary, and showed me a lot about life in Britain. Before that, I was just your average kid who was not interested in books.
As for the movies...they're what got me into Harry Potter in the first place, even though my second grade teacher told me about Harry Potter one year before. After I watched the first two movies, that was when I started to read the first book, at age 10. A few years later, I started visiting sites like Mugglenet and The Leaky Cauldron to check out to see if anything new is going on.
Hey, same thing here. NONE of my friends like to talk about Harry Potter that much, because they have something else to talk about like myspace and anime, etc. Hey, maybe we can meet each other and be friends someday! =)

Our whole family loves the Harry Potter books. We all meet at midnight at Walmart to get the newest book when it's first released. The larger bookstores have parties and read-ins but they're too far away for us. We live in a very rural area. Hope you find someone to talk with about Harry Potter.

OMG!!!!!I am almost obsessed with Harry Potter!!!!Its my fav book series,the movies are really good too.Why do I love Harry Potter books & movies? I guess its because of the fantasy & adventure that mingle with normal,everyday,teenager stuff that people can relate to.Plus the books are so realistic that you can just put yourself in Harry's position & see the scene unfold around you.But, my friends like Harry Potter too,(just not as much as I do)so we sometimes talk about Harry Potter.

Harry Potter is the best. Some of my friends like the books, but then again, I hang out with a crowd that loves fantasy. Hermione is my favorite girl, Draco my favorite guy. If he wasn't so darn evil I'd keep fantasizing about him.

OMG you poor thing! None of your friends like HP? I'm obsessed with JKR's brilliant masterpiece! I'm even head of a Harry Potter discussion club at my school called Dumbledore's Army.
