To answer the query about Angus simpson's death certificate: Here are the details
Residence Address: 2619 N. Troy died 24th October 1966
Aged about 69. Social Security number 336 01 6979
occupation: unknown
Business: Unknown
Married, divorced, widowed: Unknown
Date of Birth: Unknown
Informant of death: Victor B. Miclut (friend)
Cause of death: Acute Coronary Occlusion
Funeral Directors: Joseph Maloney Inc
2950 W. Fullerton
Chicago 47 Illinois Number: 5949

This is all taken from the death certificate so they did not know much about my poor Grandfather. I do however have his date of birth and what I really would love to know is what he did with his life. Did he marry again, what was his main employment? What happened to his brother John Simpson (Known in the family as Jock)
Are there any children. Maybe he was divorced and the family did not want to know him. Perhaps they might like to know that he had 6 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren in the UK

Alright, I've been having a really hard time finding something to read. I have certain things I won't read about and that's maybe why, but anyways, for those of you out there who've read good books can you recommend me some?

Here's what I like and what I don't like: I like my books to have romance, but I like YA and not Adult romances. Those just seem thrashy to me. I don't want a romance where they're "getting it on" or anything like that. I like Action/Adventure, Fantasy, basically anything besides Horror and Mystery.

Here are the books I've already read: The Twilight Saga, The Abhorsen Trilogy, The Bartimeaus Trilogy, Harry Potter Series, I've already read A Great and Terrible Beauty. I've begun the Vampire Kisses series. I don't really fancy Sarah Dessen's books, or Gossip Girl or anything remotely close to that.

Okay, so can anyone recommend me a good book. Thanks!!! P.S. I like my books to be long, but it's okay if they're not that long.

If you are...what do you do about it? or do you just let them be and say..."it's beyond me! i never wished to hurt anyone, it's not my fault they felt pain!"?

Remembering almost breaks me because some dragons won’t stay slain and the shadows will follow me forever. I remember the time I nearly lost myself. My heart was broken and my dreams abandoned me and I was disillusioned and I felt beautiful for the first time in my life looking at my face in a broken mirror by candlelight and I believed in happily ever after- I thought I'd never find mine, and I swore to myself in writing certain things... that I'll never say at all because I was lost and alone and crying in the dark with an open notebook I could pour me secrets to, and I remember when I lost my faith and when I wondered how God could be so cruel and why people keep so many secrets and how I could be so blind as to not know... I look at my hands and I see some of the scars on them and I'm glad I'm not naked or then I could see all my scars and know all the stories and lies to go with them and I know I'll never let go of what I was- because it's what I’m still becoming.

Looking up some ancestors online, I've noticed several things, that not only is sourcing limited in many cases, but assumptions seem to be made, such as the great grandson of my 5 times great grandfather having the same middle name, and speculation on my 5x great grandfather's father's name. Variations on dates, as well, though I understand that more.

My questions are, shouldn't the people who make these pages be obligated to give sources as well as the reasoning for their claims? I have no idea if my 6 x great grandfather was named George or Alexander, how someone else does, I don't know, and am not sure they do either.

What other errors are made in genealogy pages?

If you get a single cd player, can you still scratch? Because I read somewhere that you need two turntables to scratch, just wondering if this is the same for CD players like http://www.guitarcenter.com/Stanton-C-314-Single-CD---MP3-Player-103723904-i1166642.gc

By now changing the future I mean you can't alter what you see, not that whole thing bout 'once you see the future it changes cause you saw it'.

By seeing the past, I mean as if you were actually there. No writer's basis.

*****

Escalator ups and downs,
Each platform leads to another,
No sales floor, no exit door,
Just landing after landing after landing,

Elevator door ajar,
Stuck between two floors,
Stairwell locked, barred and blocked
Crimson rope line circles and circles,

Run against cascading steps,
Folding one into the other,
Out at the top, in at the bottom,
Leap entire flights, in flight, alight

Exhausted heap upon the floor,
I cannot climb up or down anymore,
I’ll wither and die, right here in isle five,
Fifth store, fifth floor, fifth door,

This girl was different
Nobody liked her
They tried to stay away
But no one could fight her

One day this girl
Fell in love
With a boy who seemed perfect
Like he was from up above
The boy and the girl
Never really meet
They just keep their distance
Who would commit such a feat?
Since this boy was a jock
And this girl was a nerd
But this boy had a soft spot
With this girl who was a nerd
If a jock and nerd went out
Which never really happens
News spreads fast
She would get it real fast
One day this girl took a risk
With this boy she never kissed
She asked him out
He said “No, why would we ever go out?”
This girl goes away
Cries in the bathroom
Alone by herself
With those stale, cold cashews
Alone again in her room
She made a big decision
And now the razor in her hand
Made a hole in her heart
Only just because
They were supposed to be apart
Next day at school
He went to her locker
Opened it closely
And found a note loosely
The note said and I quote
“I will love you forever and ever."

I can't remember what show I was watching, (I think it was a series on YTV (non-cartoon)), at one point, the class had to present their poems. This goth-looking girl read a poem about sympathy towards others. It was something to this effect:

When you hear of others whose friends have left them, you say "Poor Baby".. but when it happens to you, it's feels totally different because you feel the emotions.

Marooned in space is no place for a child
Alone, encapsulated, in stasis
Growing up in separate containers
Isolation, from problems left behind

Catapulted through the rings of Saturn
On journeys measuring eons, not miles
Free from the human contamination
Awakened in a place that’s sterilized

The new world’s artificial gravity
And air scrubbed of harmful impurities
Free from opinion, safe and silent lives
Happy now, without insecurities

I have a quick question.
I was hoping to start a webcomic and I have everything ready except one thing, borders. I'm using a simple ruler for the borders and it isn't cutting it...
I will put it into Photoshop, and I notice the borders are way off, tilted, or uneven.
Is there a tool out there that can help? Or do I just need to try again with a ruler?

Specifically, I'm thinking of a scientific framework people tend to be in when thinking philosophically. It seems to me like when people ask about the nature of the universe, so often the way of thinking is cosmological - and metaphysical or ontological ways of thinking are dismissed as non sensical, as if physical science is superior to any other way of looking at existence in a philosophical context.

I'm just curious if anyone else senses something like this or if you have any other observations.
