Alright, I've been having a really hard time finding something to read. I have certain things I won't read about and that's maybe why, but anyways, for those of you out there who've read good books can you recommend me some?
Here's what I like and what I don't like: I like my books to have romance, but I like YA and not Adult romances. Those just seem thrashy to me. I don't want a romance where they're "getting it on" or anything like that. I like Action/Adventure, Fantasy, basically anything besides Horror and Mystery.
Here are the books I've already read: The Twilight Saga, The Abhorsen Trilogy, The Bartimeaus Trilogy, Harry Potter Series, I've already read A Great and Terrible Beauty. I've begun the Vampire Kisses series. I don't really fancy Sarah Dessen's books, or Gossip Girl or anything remotely close to that.
Okay, so can anyone recommend me a good book. Thanks!!! P.S. I like my books to be long, but it's okay if they're not that long.

Try something by Patricia McKillip. I recommend starting with The Changeling Sea. It's a little short but it's a great book. I've read a few of her books and really enjoyed all of them.
The Tower At Stony Wood
Winter Rose
In The Forests Of Serre
The Book Of Atrix Wolfe
Alphabet Of Thorn
Od Magic

I have answered this question so many times, I decided to dedicate a web site to answer this question. Here it is:
http://www.life-after-harry-potter.com
Included is a list of only the best sorcery fantasy books, grade reading level, a short review of each book along with a brief summary of adult content. There is also a "Readers' Choice" list of favorite books, and a list of heroine sorcery fantasy books.
Of these, "A Spell for Chameleon" is the most modernly romantic. In this, the main character's impetus is proving his worth to his fiancé. In White and Steinbeck, the romance is more old style between older people. Although sex is plainly inferred (for example, between Lancelot and Guinevere, and between Arthur and Morgan le Fay), there is nothing explicit.
I hope this helps.

Try http://www.bookswelove.net to find some ideas.
I'll recommend two I read when I was younger:
Amber by Roger Zelazny:
Nine Princes in Amber, The Guns of Avalon, Sign of the Unicorn, The Hand of Oberon, and The Courts of Chaos. Good stuff.
The Lord of the Rings, and Simarillion, by J. R. R. Tolkien.
Both of those are good fantasy. I was much more into hard SF, which is more about gadgets and concepts than Romance.
Hyperion, by Dan Simmons, is one of the best SF pieces, ever.

Do you like nonfiction? "Ibn al-Haytham: First Scientist" tells the fascinating, true story of a medieval Muslim scholar who overcame bouts of mental illness to develop the scientific method two hundred years before the Europeans learned of it—by reading his books. It was just chosen by California Readers to be part of the 2008 California Collection for high school students. You can find reviews of the book and a sample chapter at http://www.ibnalhaytham.net/

Try Terry Pratchett, LOVE him and he has a ton of books. They are fantasy, but more humorous. They are really really good, he just doesn't take himself super serious.
Also try Meg Cabot. She has the Princess Diary books, but she also does a lot of "teen romances".
