IS Ayn Rand's view of Free Will and how she presents it in her philosophy coherent? Or are there "gray"/ambiguous parts?

----
Now the Objectivist theory of free will maintains the freedom of the will together with the law of causality, without resorting to the sort of redefinition of "freedom" that Locke, Hobbes, and others have found necessary. Objectivism affirms our freedom in the strong sense, in which "A course of thought or action is 'free,' if it is selected from two or more courses possible under the circumstances."(7) Unlike the previous views, however, the Objectivist theory does not assume this means our free actions are uncaused. Rather, when one performs a free action, the action is caused (generally, by one's values and factual beliefs), but other actions are still possible, because it is up to one which possible causes are operative in oneself....

My friend and I are doing an interpretive dance for a project for school on the book of Ecclesiastes (don't ask). Does anyone have any suggestions for a good instrumental song with no words, just music? I don't even know where to start looking for a song. Any suggestions are helpful. It just has to be a song with a nice tune. Thanks.

I watched thee when the foe was at our side
Ready to strike at him, or thee and me
Were safety hopeless rather than divide
Aught with one loved, save love and liberty.

I watched thee in the breakers when the rock
Received our prow and all was storm and fear
And bade thee cling to me through every shock
This arm would be thy bark or breast thy bier.

I watched thee when the fever glazed thine eyes
Yielding my couch, and stretched me on the ground
When overworn with watching, ne'er to rise
From thence, if thou an early grave hadst found.

The Earthquake came and rocked the quivering wall
And men and Nature reeled as if with wine
Whom did I seek around the tottering Hall
For thee, whose safety first provide for thine.

And when convulsive throes denied my breath
The faintest utterance to my fading thought
To thee, to thee, even in the grasp of death
My spirit turned. Ah! oftener than it ought.

Thus much and more, and yet thou lov'st me not,
And never wilt, Love dwells not in our will
Nor can I blame thee, though it be my lot
To strongly, wrongly, vainly, love thee still.

Sweet blooded female with the words
Loner stamped across her bed
Running through the thoughts in my head
Tell me what to bear
It’s the only type of love
Blood relative but eye's of comfort
Doesn’t seem demeanor
In the blackest of chilling light
Like the bones the rot to the skin
Break my shingles
Erase my thoughts
Get in between my legs
That’s where I'm lost.

Is it good or bad? Stupid, teeny boopish? Be brutally honest

I never gave a lock of hair away
To a man, Dearest, except this to thee,
Which now upon my fingers thoughtfully,
I ring out to the full brown length and say
' Take it.' My day of youth went yesterday;
My hair no longer bounds to my foot's glee,
Nor plant I it from rose or myrtle-tree,
As girls do, any more: it only may
Now shade on two pale cheeks the mark of tears,
Taught drooping from the head that hangs aside
Through sorrow's trick. I thought the funeral-shears
Would take this first, but Love is justified,--
Take it thou,--finding pure, from all those years,
The kiss my mother left here when she died.

It's by Elizabeth Barrett Browning, thanks!

people asking if they are pretty or not?
it doesnt matter what you look like;;
its the inside that counts;;
plus, everybody has a diff opinion;;
so why would you ask something that
could put you down?
and make you feel worse about yourself?

No matter what I do no matter how much I love doing it, I find myself quitting after not too long. This only really applies to work, I have hobbies which stay in my attention for longer, but if I am doing it professionally, the appeal dies frighteningly fast. I'm 22 years old and I have been a full time paramedic, teaching assistant, business analyst, and chef. All of these jobs were things I went into thinking I could do this for the rest of my life and be proud of myself, and none of them lasted for more than a year. Then I started thinking, this is scary, because no matter what I do, I feel like it will turn out the same. Even if I had some dream position, which to me could be something like lead programmer for the best selling computer game of all time, even then I feel like I would get tired and quit the entire field itself. So what kind of advice is there for people like me? I don't think I'm going to change, I can't just have one passion in life, it won't happen. Thanks!
