how have they changed? I am looking for in the past 30 years. I can also use info for celebrities who are girl scouts. (Not Dolly Parton though, I already have her.)

I remember reading that during one of the wars the pins were hallow and had to be sewed onto the uniform to save on metal. There are drawings of past uniforms at the girl scout site: http://www.girlscouts.org/who_we_are/history/exhibit/

Hello FaonMack:

To keep up with fashion trends, GSUSA changes its uniforms about every four to six years. Currently all of the councils are going through a consolidation process, and uniforms will be redesigned soon.

To find famous Girl Scouts, you'll need to spend another five points and ask the board.

Keep on Scoutin'

Here's a great link for famous Girl Scouts:

Lots of political figures, and lots of media-types. Enjoy the list! (Is anyone surprised that Martha Stewart was a Girl Scout? :-) )
