Has anyone heard of a social Waltz pattern or move termed "Fred & Ginger"? We stopped by a new YMCA Ballroom class to just see what was being taught now days and heard the instructor call out that move. I assume it's a closed studio term but never heard of it. Any ideas?

You know how when people that are really depressed and have a bad life they want everyone else to be like that. For me is that I rather want everything to happen to me. I don't want others to have a bad life. I mean when my friends have something bad happen I get mad because I feel like they have to be happy, and I just get MAD! and also when someone gets something I sometimes feel like I never get anything and I feel like I am just a sucker that has nothing, whatsover. I mean I also feel like everyone gets everything and is so happy and I can't, but when they get sad I rather want it to happen to me. I don't get myself I think I am a really bad person! and that's why I hate myself with passion. Can you give me an advise.

In all honesty, I can't say I liked it.

I mean think about it, throughout the whole series we've read about Harry and his friends adventures as teenagers. That's how we all know him: a young man caught in the middle of something big and dangereous that is his destiny.

Then at the last possible minute, Rowling suddenly transforms them into adults. In my opinion, I feel like we concluded the series in an unfamiliar enviorment (Harry and friends as adults with kids of their own) That's not the way we know these characters.

I feel like the way the story was concluded left us in a state of "umm..okay"

I don't know. I thought it the ending was rather rushed and clicheish. What do you think?

I love writing plays similar to the works of Tennessee Williams, dramatic tragedies that are very theatrical, in that classic type of style. I want to know however, what theatre companies are looking for nowadays? I do what most playwrights do, I only write for myself and what I love. But, I'm anxious to get a few more of my plays produced and wanted to know what they look for. Also contact me if you have contacts in regional theatre for possible plays for considerations. Thank you.

Eternity's Home...sonnet*

What price to welcome Eternity home...
What price has our sun paid for it's rising,
Shining, on Forever...faraway lands...
Squealing, laughing, children playing in sands

Where ancient reptiles left their tracks behind...
Where dolphins mated water, earth, water.
Who tore Eternity's spinning apart...
Why hasn't it's mending ended? But starts

Again each day, one hour closer in Time.
Again, light laughter of unknown children
Sifting Forever through little fingers...
Settling for food, warmth, sleep. Answers linger

In every birth, in each child...Welcome
For Eternity. And, in their eyes...Home.

I understand that for many years humans lived and were organized as tribes that defended a certain territory. Some tribes took over other areas and occupied other tribes' lands and territories. Which sounds like a hostile situation. At what point in time did people start peacefully establishing a "collection" of towns and cities with a political hierarchy and structure, a charter of some sort (like a constitution)?

the murderers would have found other excuses if there were no religions. Maybe a lot of people of lower intelligence have been controlled by religion, and this control has discouraged them from committing individual murders, etc. I know I am reaching to justify religion, but maybe there is some good in the deceiving of people for the reasons just mentioned.

At the start of the U.S. Civil War Queen Victoria of Great Britian announced that her country would be neutral, but she granted the Confederacy "belligerent status" so that British merchants could trade with Confederate States. Was this an official recognition and did it negate Britian's neutrality?

Earth-Woman*

I am woman and I have borne the Torah on a gold cloth
Over my shoulder.
I have consecrated its dust-leadened parchment,
Cradling the scrolls into temple darkness...
Clicked-shut the doors, saddened and empty.
I am of childbearing age...
I am crimson with life.
I have touched the Ark.
I have read the Covenant.

I cannot lighten the laws of heaven.
I have nothing to do with clouds or sin, but
I could have shown them where Eden was hidden...
The forgotten way going home again.

I have caressed the male god on his couch
In a ghost-haunted room, a candle-dark room...
Remembering a soul, but eyes with no spark.
I have soothed his forehead in the dead hours,
Softening his terror, silencing his scream,
'Mother, do not leave me again'.

I cannot replace the laws of heaven.
I have nothing to gain from angels or sin, but
I put him on the road to Eden...
The long-hidden path going home again.

I am woman and I come adorned with a
Mitre of thorns.
I own salvation, blessed and chaliced...
Giving to sinners,
Selling to saints.
I have witnessed the sins of gods.
I have dried the unwarranted tears of Eve.
I have confessed and absolved the dead.

I will not revise the laws of heaven.
I will not tamper with death or sin, but
I will wait for you in Eden...
At the end of the road going home again.
