I am a girl in 7th grade and I am interested in sports and reading. I like mystery and fast pace books. Should I read the harry potter books? Are they fast paced??!!

Harry Potter or not I would also suggest that you read the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. Very fast paced and interesting,

I wouldnt say they are fast paced, not all the time but during a good wizard fight scene they are very edge of your seat exciting! I suggest Harry Potter to anyone, I think you should read them

oh yeah. The first one was a tiny bit hard to get into, but they get so much better. I started reading them in 3rd grade, and now im a freshman have been addicted since the first day my teacher started reading it to us. but a word to the wise DO NOT READ THE LAST PAGE. seriously, i accidentatly read the end of the 7th book when i was trying to find out how many pages it was and it ruined the book for me. but other than that, they are absoloutely awesome. The Harry Potter books are GREAT! You should deffintly read them!!! Thy are really fast paced and really interesting and fun, they are also better than the movies. I recommend them highly. I would also reccomend Inkspell and Inkheart....

I think you should read them, but they aren't always fast paced. It's worth it, and there are many scenes that are fast paced, but there are parts that are information rather than action that are central to the plot.

the harry potter books are defintely worthwhile. just make sure you read from the beginning of the series because if you don't you will not understand some key things in the stories.

It is a long series, and in long series, there are slow spots. But in general, I think you would like them. Check out "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" from the library and see for yourself! Enjoy.

Yes they are. I got bored so I started reading the 1st one, and I was so wrapped up in it I got onto page 60 without realizing it!

They are not really fast paced, but very intresting. i read almost all of them and they seem too be a great series. i recommend reading it.

you will love them
dont let the number of pages fool you and think they are too long in the last 4 books
they might seem long but believe youll want more!
