I don't know which book I should read next in the series. There all jumbled up, but I loved Ender's Game and I want to know which book to read next from the series.

When I start writing a novel, I then know all the details, cruical points, characters, I know what is going to happen, the main part and how it all ends... and then I lose interest in the novel, I CAN'T make myself write it to the end...

I've got dozens of unfinished novels, but since I know what they are about and how they end - what's the point in writing?

Has anyone ever had this kind of problem?

Im 13 years old and I really like to design things like sigs, posters, etc. and i would really like to get paid for it since it takes up so much of my time :) also i think it would be good for my future because I'd like to be a graphic designer and if i got a job it would look good on my resume. (re-suh-may, not resume...idk how to spell it) I'd prefer part time since i still go to school. :) Thx in advance! :)

my cat, my flower, my rose
from her soft white fur to her cold pink nose
her, on my bed, in the middle of the night
when I am upset she makes everything right
she leaps she bounces
and at three AM she pounces
she is is always ready to play
and when she poops on my bed I love her anyway

God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him. How shall we comfort ourselves, the murderers of all murderers? What was holiest and mightiest of all that the world has yet owned has bled to death under our knives: who will wipe this blood off us? What water is there for us to clean ourselves? What festivals of atonement, what sacred games shall we have to invent? Is not the greatness of this deed too great for us? Must we ourselves not become gods simply to appear worthy of it?

"what are these churches now if they are not the tombs and sepulchres of God?"

A fellow YA user named CMW just posted this in the Religion section in response to a question.

It's a comment by Walid Shoebat, former PLO member, about Palestinian identity:

'We did not particularly mind Jordanian rule. The teaching of the destruction of Israel was a definite part of the curriculum, but we considered ourselves Jordanian - until the Jews returned to Jerusalem. Then all of a sudden we ere Palestinians! They removed the star from the Jordanian flag and all at once we had a Palestinian flag...

When I finally re alised the lies and myths I was taught, it was my duty as a righteous person to speak out.'

Note: Jordan was created out of three quarters of the British mandate in 1921. It was then called Transjordan.

What do you all think? I felt it was very interesting.

when do you want it to end? how and why?

i think it will end in 2012 from global warming but i want it to end in 2013 so i can graduate first. also 13 is supposedly and unlucky number so it's cool if that will be when it all ends.

Does it mean anything in latin? Does anyone know why they said it. Because I attended a witchcraft trial at Colonial Williamsburg, and the sheriff said that, so I was curious. Does Sheriff actaully mean something in old english? Because I have heard it does.

Do you know the rest of the poem, the title or the author?

They are altered photographs that I've taken. I was just wondering what you guys think of these? Would you more serious photographers consider this photographic art? For obvious reasons I've decided to call this style 'Neon Photography.'

Yes, it is self-publishing and they want $4,000. However, they claim that they get orders from Barnes and Noble, Walden, etc. I searched for one of their authors and the book they published showed up on Amazon. They actually do marketing and don't rely solely on the author. I really believe in my book. I am critical of my work (drawings, photography, etc). So it's not that it's MY book. I really believe it is good. It is a children's book. I've been rejected by 2 traditional publishing companies. Should I keep trying with traditional publishing or fork out the $4,000?

1) The Platypus has features of a bird(duck-like bill), a mammal(fur and beaver-like tail), a reptile(lays eggs and lives in water &land), an amphibian(webbed feet), and a fish(um, able to swim?). Of all earthly beings, surely the platypus is the most likely to be god.
2) The platypus has a bill that can detect electrical energy in nerve impulses AND has venom from a spur on its hind legs.
3) The platypus is one of the most intelligent beings on Earth. The fact that it evolved into how it is now is extraordinary. Platypi fossils have also been found, proving that it existed millions of years ago, its features brilliantly adapted to survive.

Although unlikely(very) that God exists, assuming that he/she/it did, wouldn't it be relatively logical and reasonable for me to speculate that God is a platypus?
No joking, think about it.

What do both say about whether an individual can be happy living under the rule of a tyrant and in constant fear?

I don't get why fear is an important theme for both schools.

For example:
1) I won't litter.
2) I'll plant a tree.
3) I won't use a plastic bags when I shop.
It doesn't have to be anything major. The simpler the better. Think of it as being the change you want to see around you.
